I seem to recall his actual ‘jump’ stat to be relatively low? On Pro Evo he didn’t have to jump very far anyway, haha.

Agreed. I can't remember the height of the Greek backline, but I distinctly remember I could not get anywhere near him, especially with Nedved crossing it!

Nedved was the one I’d always pull out all the stops to sign on Pro Evo, what a beast he was. Stamina, passing, agility, shooting from distance - amazing.

Indeed, though I feel his shooting ability was unnecessarily low on Pro Evo. His stamina was also low, hence he’d last about an hour, and I’d get frustrated with that. lol

I can’t remember which year it was, either FIFA 10, 11 or 12 and John Carew played for Stoke - perhaps a Jan update. One of my mates went on a stupid 30-something winning streak against 4-5 of us it was a piss take. The thing is, ‘normal’ 4.5-5 stars it was even stevens.

John Carew still gives me pixelated nightmares. I did not think I could get turned over by Stoke with one of my favourite teams on the game.

Drogba was just about impossible to defend against on some games, and Heskey if i remember right! I think on Pro Evo Tijani Babangida was my go to player when i was Nigeria, could just run past entire teams.

Also, I used to try and grab as many of the secret players in free agents as possible, from Pro Evo 6 onwards. Yamada, Chapi, Kaiser, Bos, Carter, Wilton etc.

I think Master League is what made Pro Evo what it was, to be honest. Really was light years ahead of EA at that time.
