Got it, it's specifically asking SISU, the club and individuals to cover losses.

Appreciate the answers

Paying for a hot dog is still what? £5-6? And all 9k that attended bought a hot dog, or a pie or a pint. At £5 per head spend, you contributed to approx £45,000 take (assuming that everyone only spent £5 each, some would of spent more). Dont claim innocence "I only bought 1 hot dog" bullshit. By being there (free or otherwise) you're adding to the problem, the owners will look and say, "weve still got 9k people here, spending money and supporting us"! You're effectively giving them the green light to keep city out of the city. Claim your innocence all you like. Your just as bad as Lucas and Seppalla and Eastwood in my eyes. Not just you. ANYONE who has EVER attended a w**ps match that claims to be a CCFC fan or that comes from the greater coventry are! You are ALL part of the problem. End of!

Mate your talking absolute bollocks and you are a keyboard warrior. In your echo chamber things are all fact as long as they agree with what your saying. My comments were asking a genuine question that you haven't answered answered other than it's my fault that Wasps own the Ricoh. Your part of the problem because your stupid if you think Wasps are the only issue, their are three party's involved and all three are equally at guilt. Whether you like it or not it will take Wasps and the council to help fix it. You also proved you don't read before you type I said there wasn't 9000 in the stadium. Also the hot dog was £4.50 which went to the stall holder, he has paid rental for the space in the hall get your facts right.

Ok, few things wrong with this.
1) I blamed you for being as bad as Lucas (council), Seppalla (SISU) and Eastwood (w**ps). So for you to accuse me of blaming ONLY w**ps is way off the mark.
2) You blame me of not reading before replying? See number 1 above as you clearly are as bad.
3) Regardless of who you paid your £4.50 hot dog money to, he paid rent for his space, so whether directly or not, and regardless of how minimal, you have put money in w**ps coffers. If you want to justify it by claiming you didnt pay for your ticket and that helps you sleep at night then fine. But dont expect sympathy when your called a c**t.
4) Monetary value spent aside, if w**ps are still getting attendances of 9k (whether it was or wasnt, they sold/given away 9k tickets) then as far as they're concerned, they're getting bigger attendances here than they were at 'Home' in London. Why would they consider bringing CCFC home when the people of Coventry are clearly supporting them and are on their 'side'?

Call me what you like! Internet troll? Keyboard warrior? c**t? Whatever. I'm happy in the knowledge I've NEVER been and watched that franchise!

Not sure I agree with the name calling but I have to admit I struggle to see the logic behind posters openly admitting they attend Wasps fixtures (regardless of how infrequent it is) as you're clearly just going to attract hate.

Each to their own but I just can't imagine how any fan could happily sit in the Ricoh cheering on the institution that is largely responsible for CCFC becoming homeless - and I might add who are also acting in incredibly poor faith by demanding indemnity for their own potential breach of EU policy.

I don't get why somebody would ignore how well we are doing, some of our great wins this season but come on and brag about going to watch Wasps?

I'd guess it's another with the feeling of getting one over on SISU.

I went to the Ricoh yesterday on free tickets, the official attendance was around 9000 our party of 4 thought the actual was nearer 7. Just wondering what their break even figure is, they can't be doing that well if the gates aren't massive. Most of the advertising round the ground wasn't local either. They surely can't be operating just on the goodwill of their owner?

I would never go to a Wasps game but I did wonder what crowd they got- 9,053. They were on a three game winning run too, and they give away thousands of freebies every match.

The way they are running now is not sustainable, they will go pop sooner or later unless they get much bigger (paying) crowds.

Anyway fuck 'em, its all about us now.

edit: if you paid to go to a Wasps game then you have no business being on a CCFC forum or claiming to be a CCFC supporter.

What if you get a free ticket and go and support the other team whilst not contributing to the wasps Coffers?

It’s still attending and contributing to numbers - best avoided

I think the only acceptable time would be if you were a lifelong fan of say Northampton Saints, could get in on a free ticket and not spend a penny. Even then you should fuck io the toilets.

I think the only time would be if you were a Coventry RFC supporter and having been promoted went to the Ricoh to take it over with thousands of others to watch them beat Wasps.

You never bought anything at the Ricoh on match days then when watching the city play?
Nope. Never. Made a point to take my own food from Gregg's if I was ever eating but normally, as a grown adult, I would normally eat before leaving the house and wait until I got home before eating again. Simples.

Completely wrong Nick, I was not bragging, the gist of the post is saying that they can't be doing that well when they are over stating attendances. The actual experience was poor and the atmosphere was shit despite the lunatic announcer shouting his head off.

Come on mate, what did you think the reaction would be when you announced you'd been to watch wasps?
Not that I'd ever go but no way I'd tell anyone if I did. If anyone asked where I'd spent the afternoon I tell then I was getting pegged in an Sand M sex dungeon to save myself from the embarrassment.

I was never really that bothered about a beer in the ground. I have started to much more at St Andrews though.

I can live without it though. Same with food.

Their were lots of city colours on show mate. My mate was given the tickets, he said that the company they came from gets 50 a game and we were the only ones using them. My comments were intended to highlight how many people don't attend.

There were loads of people in city shirts?

We know people don't use freebies ;)
