One assist in a game makes an AM though. O’Hare couldn’t play that pass and that’s the difference. He’d have picked it up and dribbled in circles in the corner then wandered about for a bit.
Doing one good thing per game does not compensate for a lot of time spent giving possession away on showboating and failing to support the team with and without the ball.

O’Hare when he was auditioning for his free transfer was doing far more across the 90.

I'm not sure it was that good of a pass?

It was a forward pass to our player. That alone beats 90% of the passes our players made tonight.

The point is we have a £9m AM who has been on strike and people are so busy sucking him off they’re ignoring his part in our decline and blaming the guy playing ahead of him who is actually producing more.

Who's the 9m AM?

Yeah but that stopped when the transfer didn’t materialise in Jan.

But people kept (and keep) bemoaning Palmer for not contributing enough goals and assists yet when he contributes more than O'Hare then people move the goalposts and moan about something else.

O’Hare is clearly the better player but Palmer has contributed more in the last 10 games that's just a fact.
But following his recent games its patently obvious he is not at this level, ever since the racism incident he has performed dreadful for the most part

People turning on a player that came on at 85 minutes and moaning that he didn't turn the game around. Fuck me.

Palmer has made more starts this season and has scored 4 goals to O'Hares 10, at 538 mpg to O'Hares 201. Palmer doesn't do nearly enough. O'Hare is going anyway, so fill your boots of you want to, it doesn't really matter, but Palmer is simply not good enough. Get rid. i would genuinely wish him well if he left, but he cannot be a starter next season.

It stopped when he got the thumbs up from his new employer. We’ll see much more of it for them whoever it is.

We need better than Kasey Palmer I’m sorry.

And we’ll get it. The only people claiming we won’t are those desperate to bang on about Palmer. Who is only playing cos O’Hare is on strike.

Latibeaudiere is a liability, you won't get promoted with players like him in the side, if a club like Swansea don't want him why did we bother, offers absolutely nothi

Because Robins keeps on listening to his assistant who keeps on recommending ex Chelsea rejects.

Today proved that Kasey Palmer is not of the level needed.
Trying to find what to take from that game and what I've got is:
Palmer just wants to do flicks and tricks rather than actually be an effective footballer, so we need a better option.
Dasilva is always targeted with the ball over the top, and doesn't seem to be adapting to it. But as his job is predominantly defensive again it's not good enough.
I will give Lati a bit of leeway as he's played a lot of football this year, but he is prone to letting the opposition have chances, and he can't be considered anything more than a back-up.

Which means we've probably got a lot more to do in the transfer market in the summer than we'd probably like.

Robins taking his time...

There's definitely a player in there, which makes it more frustrating. There is a time for the fancy stuff and there is a time for the simple stuff. He needs to get the balance right
Someone with his experience and time spent at this club should be more disciplined than that.

Nonsense.

Sure. Except he is. That’s why he’s barely playing. It’s plain to anyone who hasn’t got their head in the sand. Ironically the same people who went on about Biamou, and are now acting worse than the most rabid Biamou fan. Guy puts on a wig and gets a free pass taking the piss out of the club and derailing a season. But oh Hamer said he might be off if we don’t go up so let’s have six months of posts, from the same people again, about his kebab habit.

Make it make sense.

Sorry, but based on what will we get it. If you can afford to do it Palmer is a decent squad player who can do a bit. But if there was a consistent top notch performer lurking there we’d have seen it by now.

I've defended Palmer but he's been poor for a while now.
He fucks up fairly routine passes with alarming regularity.

Is he refusing to train or refusing to play? No, so he isn’t ‘on strike’. Even if he were, Jamie Allen exists but he has also been frozen out despite us being apparently desperate for a chance to rotate or rest players.

Remember we first got promoted and people were acting like we should be happy to be getting beaten 3-0 by Bournemouth and Norwich. Ipswich pissed all over the idea that it’s impossible to compete at this level immediately.
They could have tailed off after Xmas, bringing in Moore was a masterstroke.

Allen has been back from injury for like two games. This has been months.

His form stopped dead when the transfer window closed. But sure it’s robins that has gone mental and dropped him for no reason.
