Surely Doug’s pissed off that we’ve spent all that money on Simms just for Godden to play over him again and again and constantly disappoint. It’s beyond a joke now. Why is he still on pens? That’s two this season he’s missed ffs. Cannot stand the best finisher at the club bollox. A decent enough goal poacher yeah, but finisher? No.

Totally outclassed today. At least we can sit back and chill and just accept lower mid table obscurity this season and concentrate on further recruitment.
Wright is better out on the left. Sakamato should start every game. Allen is now better than this Ohare but we probably need a top level no.10 to come in. Time i think for Simms to be given a run in place of Godden.
We need to bring in another striker to compete with Simms for the no,9 role. A no.11 to compete with Wright. a no.7 to compete with Sakamoto, a new RB, a no, 8 midfielder, a no.10, and either sign Binks or get another CB.
In summary we are still 7 players short from an established promotion chasing team.

We haven't been able to fire any shots low and hard including a penalty which is pathetic. Ipswich are a well-oiled machine where every player knows where the other one is. We are playing as if this is the first match of the season.

The thing is simms has been looking his best/a lot better in recent games when given the chance and Godden is handy to come off the bench when we need a goal (pens excluded )
