If the only reason we didn't sign him was because we were waiting on GT to make his mind up / Needed the GT cash to make it happen then signing Moorhouse would make perfect sense. Already had a good look at him, he knows the rest of the squad etc. Has Robins ever said anything about why the deal didn't happen?

Yes. Would be another good experienced head in there. Already played with O'Brien,Doyle and McNulty so would fit in well.

Think it was more on principle that his Club changed stance and demanded a fee or whatever.
The result is he moved for a 4-5 month deal for £5K according to someone who joined up to post.

Fair enough, I guess it is a gamble as to whether he can live up to the promise he showed in pre-season but worth sticking £20k on the table and see if they jump maybe?
