this season we have spent nothing, we have not replaced tm snd gone for the cheap option of mv, financial/ marketing director has left, no plans for the academy or our lease at the ricoh, ryton being touted for sale and mv hinting at the fact we wont be spending any money in the jan transfer window.

For me this points towards sisu waiting on the result of their final court appeal and then recouping what they can from any revenue available such as ryton, player sales, cutting staff increased st prices and they will then go leaving us in the lowest position on and off the field we have ever seen

We have spent money on at least two players, possibly more, simple really how many Div. 1 teams do you think will be spending money on transfer fees in January?

Only those who are increasing their debt!

If the gamble pays off fine, if it doesn't disaster which is why we're currently where we are!

These so called paid for signings?

Where did our owners find the money for them?

Are they better players than we had last year?

We are no longer even treading water !

We are treading ever sinking quick sand.

What point do you see in that?

Any news on our new stadium?

na. SISU took us over in Championship and promised to leave us in a better state than they found us. They haven't done that. That's why we are where we are

I don't think sisu will be here that much longer as there is not that much left to get. Once it's been had they will go.

What a stupid comment!

If we spent money then doesn't that say management has been disastrous since the squad has been converted from one that finished in the top 10 places to one languishing in the relegation zone. It also misses the crucial fact that the squad was trimmed massively in the summer with far more outgoing than incoming.

The monies that have been spent have not been spent wisely.. this is because of poor recruitment of managerial staff. TM and co were quite obviously out of their depth in this league making 1 bad decision after another., all the signings have been abysmal so far because we have arsehole owners who dont understand football or the passions that come with it... we are clinging on for dear life but sadly losing too many fans along the way maybe never to return again, hopefully someone will come in and save us before its totally too late but the clock is ticking faster each day

Mr Grendel wrote in another post about Jimmy Hill's time as chairman being less than successful in the past and he is partially correct, the difference in those days we were a top division side and not a lower third division side. Now in those days were a top division club and now we are heading to being homeless and asset free, in a more precarious place than probably any other league club.
Is the end in sight, I have no foresight in to the future but the feeling I get is that we are heading in to a darker place( who thought that was possible?) and there is nobody with their foot on the break.

The JR1 might be over but there is a decision to make on JR2

However I think the departure from the club revolves around the training ground. If they can sell that, invest in a new site get some grants to add in to it then they create an asset that is worth far more than the Ryton. At that point they might look at selling the assets clearing off the ARVO loan, maybe some to Sconset too then they will go. Could take a couple of years though

In the meantime the club is left to find its own level being self sufficient but more importantly not costing SISU or ARVO any long term finance (there might be the odd short term finance repaid from player sales money). If they get paid add ons for the likes of Wilson, Maddison or sell the likes of Stevenson then all the better for them.

Might well be entering the final chapter but I don't think its going to be a short journey

They've known since day one. It's only the useful idiots on here who think they're on some sort of moral crusade and not just using the courts as a weapon in "negotiations".
