Is there any kind of protest for the MK match ? (1 Viewer)

Last week I thoroughly enjoyed the paper aeroplanes that came about as a result of the slightly lukewarm response to holding aloft leaflets at Sheffield.

Anything going on at the MK game ?

I know of a group that are boycotting and protesting outside the ground near the jimmy hill statue, they were hoping for a mass boycott but cant see it will be interesting to see what numbers get involved

In other words the team isn't in the premier league and I can't be arsed.

With fans like you we deserve to be where we are.

If wankers like you that's supporting Sisu that's killing MY club . You prick !

I'm going to the game not just waiting for the next bandwagon - so piss off and support someone else - until the next JPT semi final.

I know you don't understand human emotion, but that post is ridiculous even for you. Surely he'd have left decades ago if he was after Prem football.

No, we have the fans we deserve for where we are.

We're not a community, we're not a club, we're Joy's plaything and as such no-one but Joy has any moral obligation to attend. If she ever feels like giving the club back to the fans, maybe you can play that card. But we didn't leave the club, it left us, and made it quite clear it doesn't give a fuck whether we're there or not.

So what you're saying then is that the club deserved to be in Northampton because fan's were prepared to pay to go and watch "home" games there. Interesting.

No - he says his morals will not allow him to go. This suggests he is making a moral decision based on his ethics code which I can only assume does not permit him to watch a team financed by a capitalist hedge fund.

Given his moral code does not extend to not supporting the team when they employed a woman beater I suspect he is being economical with the truth. I suspect if Genghis Kahn owned the club as long as we were a relative success he'd go.

If he was just honest and say its crap and I can't be bothered fair enough but to suggest its a code of morality that prevents attendance is rubbish.

Of course continued declining attendances will also contribute to our continued demise - it's a vicious circle.

Today's protesters won't be there.
The success of the protest will be seen by the empty seats.

However, I think every time something major like the Pressley sacking happens (Coming back to the Ricoh was the one before) we need to reset and start again.
Get down there as if everything has changed and will be hunky dory from now on.
It's all we can do.

Over the 41 Years he has been a ticket holder he has stuck with them and witnessed our one success and many many failures and disappointments so to portray him as some fickle supporter is rather pathetic and does not recognise his support over many years.

All of us on here have at one time put money into the club when SISU have been here and no it did not bother us at the time as owners are owners and money is money and we need both, so your second hypothesis of the capitalist hedge fund is bunkum for pretty much every supporter here.

Where I and others really object is the criminal negligence that the current owners have shown to the club and supporters during their tenure. End of . Your constant whinging on about hedge funds is tedious and not really central to any debate. Our current owners have a disgraceful record and have even acted illegally (withholding rent payment) and have bee admonished in a court of law. end of.

Being a hedge fund is not the problem its how they behave towards the club we love and it is probably you who should consider to who you are handing over your money and how they have used it (or not) to bring this club to its current predicament.

If they can claim to have spend 60 million quid on anything and managed to cock it up so disastrously its should at least make you think twice and scratch your head in bewilderment. Morally I find their behaviour appalling and cannot support them. They have to be judged by their actions not reputation or who we believe them to be.

The only kind of protest will manifest itself if we go a couple of goals down..................but that's been the same for the last 40 years !

For all the SISU apologists; one thing to remember....unlike Tim, Steve and Joy; we spend OUR OWN money.

Like all the great pubs and clubs, that used to be filled regular; if they don't adapt and improve their offer they wither and die.

I know a lot of people, who were season ticket holders from the sixties, who have moved on, totally because of SiSU's policies.
