The start was the same with or without them was the point , absolutely not 1 bit misleadingYou are deliberately missing the point and twisting things which have been said. Adi & Lawrence were here as part of the managerial team which turned things round. To conveniently just mention the poor start bit solely with reference to Adi & Lawrence is deliberately misleading.
Good summary apart from your irresistible need to inject some pro Robins rhetoric into almost everything you sayThere is so much gaslighting going on by people with agendas.
Lampard is not the man. Nothing has changed under his leadership and we need to stop kidding ourselves that these players are all L2 wasters. We haven’t seen a single shred of improvement in any area. We’re in zero danger of relegation, never were- what’s probably going to happen now is we’ll just drift along and finish up lower mid table.
The people who wanted Robins out will then claim that’s a ‘good achievement’, and that we were certs to go down had he not gone, and we’ll spend until about this time next year kidding ourselves things will turn, but they won’t and we’ll be straight back on the managerial merry go round.
I am desperate for Lampard to get it right, because we stand to lose all the momentum which took 7 years to build, but head over heart if we’re honest we can all see where this is heading.
We’ve seen changes. Whether they justify the decision is a matter of opinion but it’s not like nothing has changed.
And clearly with a benchmark of 26 points by this point, King did tooWith our "elite tactician" & coaching team, you'd expect an immediate upturn in results & performances or at the very least significant signs of improvement, especially given the very favourable fixtures.
It’s not the same and the only ones who will call for his head are those who won’t let go of Robins through pure sentiment
Tactically we're playing quite differently. 5 at the back is gone and Lampard's 433 with only one holding mid plays more fluidly and attacking than Robins' 4231 did (when it works). How is it not like nothing has changed, having seen that match against Portsmouth? There’s a genuine case for saying it’s got worse.
It is about opinions though, you’re right. Looking back at it I think I’d have rather seen Chris Ramsey become assistant and leave Robins in, but that’s long gone now and we have no choice but to really support Lampard- but it’s alarming to see how nothing has got better, I know it’s only a few games but.. anyway we’ll see.
Our midfield was open the entire game in fairness , tactically we were wankTactically we're playing quite differently. 5 at the back is gone and Lampard's 433 with only one holding mid plays more fluidly and attacking than Robins' 4231 did (when it works).
The Portsmouth game kind of epitomised our current situation: potential to be great, like the first 10 minutes but then undone by poor individuals and a loss of confidence/belief.
That's his philosophy though, his teams will always be fairly open. Our midfield was open the entire game in fairness , tactically we were wank
Also worth pointing out lampard did nothing to remedy the issues
So we've the British ange thenThat's his philosophy though, his teams will always be fairly open.
Not sure anyone could have remedied the fact that all of our players clearly didn't want to be there 2nd half. We could barely get out of our own box.

Nah. Portsmouth was an anomaly. This team needs to be playing on the front footHe needs to be more pragmatic or it will be his downfall.
Tighten it up, for now.

You were gloating after the Portsmouth game. You were literally gloating after the hull game
He's been in the job so long too....Wouldn’t matter who was in charge, I will support them. I can also say whether I think they’re good enough. I will support Lampard (don’t forget, I’m one of those “happy clappers” that get the piss taken out of them for being too optimistic), but so far we’ve seen zilch to justify making a change. It’s not hard to understand.

You don’t even go to games so your opinion is irrelevant. How can you say he’s not the man after a handful of games with a bunch of useless players recruited long before he arrived. He might not be the man but you can’t say for sure yetThere is so much gaslighting going on by people with agendas.

If things weren't a mess he wouldn't be here.He deserves more time and he’ll get more time, I’m saying that I see zero evidence whatsoever that he’s going to be a success, and I fear we’re now going to drift along waiting for some kind of spark that never comes. Portsmouth was worse than anything under Robins, and Lampard didn’t seem to have any idea what to do. Whatever about tactics, by now he should at least have instilled a bit of confidence & belief.
What is annoying is the way people are basically rewriting history, lying and trying to pretend Lampard has inherited a massive mess- he needs to be judged on results and results alone, zero sentiment or agenda- how long is it going to be “yeah but Robins wasn’t that good really/ yeah but Robins left him these players/ yeah but it’s not Lampard’s fault”…
Whichever way you slice it it’s been a very underwhelming start for Frank, and we need to see something very quickly.
You're writing off Milan? ffsThat’s the issue. Ours has gone from a squad of adding 2-3 and finessing to needing 5 new starting players. 4 if you take a chance on Dovin. That means Doug has to fund the purchase of two CH’s, a midfielder and a right back. And by fund it will be from reserves, not sales, unless Gyokeres goes.
Clearly we can't function with him as the only right back option all season. You're writing off Milan? ffs

Underwhelming? ThisRobins was great for us. Posters that don’t acknowledge that are weird. I still don’t think it was the right time for him to go, but he’s gone now and I support the football club not Mark Robins.
Unsure if Frank will be any good long term at this stage, but I’ve definitely seen differences in the setup / some of the things we are doing in our play. Some of those differences I have liked. For that reason I’m going to give it time.
His bare minimum expectation was the playoffsUnderwhelming? If we win on boxing day he has a 50 percent win record
What were you expecting? Win every game and snatch an auto spot?

Hell of a commute from Croatia!Even if it was true “I don’t go to games”, my opinion would be just as valid as anyone else’s.
And Merry Christmas
No. But we need another player, just one, who can play there. The dip in his form must be at least partly due to the fact he has to play every single game. And if he gets injured who knows what we’d do.You're writing off Milan? ffs
Yeah and then they accuse others of having an agenda. This
I think it's weird that people try to brand anyone who thinks lampard isn't dogshit as same as those that wanted robins out and putting down everything he achieved.
Yeah I'm the same but apparently I think lampards is the greatest of all time insteadYeah and then they accuse others of having an agenda.
I still can’t quite believe I was labelled as part of a Robins out brigade despite having said I’d have given him until the end of the season.
The poster in question's expectation was that.Don't think that's the case
King made the change to potentially salvage a playoff push but I don't think it's an expectation at all.
We could bring in pep guardiola or Jürgen klopp and it would still be sensible to think long term and judge properly on next season not this.
