Yup, any land outside the stadium can either be bought by them if they want, or be bought by somebody else if they want.

We should be focussing, really, on a football stadium for a football club. Everything outside of that can take care of itself.

I think the use of the stadium bowl and maybe some conference facilities would be worthwhile, if just to give parity to what they'd get at a "normal" ground.

But yes, without a solid focus on the pitch and the fanbase it'll all be for naught. All the more reason to negotiate a leasehold quickly and start eating some humble pie IMO.

Ive no idea what you mean.

Im just a regular city fan(mount nod) who can see where the majority of the blame belongs.

Thanks for that. Your highly thought out and intelligent responses have made me to a total u-turn.

Up the council, up ACL up Joe Elliot.

Obviously, wouldn't be doing your job properly if you weren't well briefed.

It would appear that a large majority of posters on gmk genuinely dislike fellow ccfc fans. Infact I'd go as far as to say that a lot of them would quite happily keep the 1500 of so sixfielders and the club at Northampton and stuff the rest of us.

Call it a moment of clear headed ness after some discussions last night if you will following this weeks events.

Many individuals and groups are to blame for not resolving our clubs ongoing plight that started after Derek robins and shows no sign of improving

But ...........

Joy has no interest in the football club. She on behalf of her investors wants the Ricoh complex for little or no money and once she accepts that she cannot obtain this she will cease to fund the club and CCfc will be sold or be liquidated.

Our dear old historic club used in a worldwide business deal. Bloody great!

Nobody ever explains to me how, if the club is irrelevant to the Ricoh complex and would be wound up by SISU on them getting it... how the club not playing there now means SISU would get it cheap!

NW - I don't think I have said that the club is irrelevant to the Ricoh arena complex have I? Did you quote the right one of my entries?

The club is the trojan horse as I see it - her way in to attain the prize

Then the club won't be liquidated if they got it.

Ok - I don't think that they will get it - I hadn't even considered that as a possibility!!

Both leaders of the council who I don't know as personal friends but do know that they have given tens of years in public service for the good of their home city and have both been supporters of the club for as long as any of us have said that the Ricoh Arena complex belongs to the people of Coventry and if they were to sell for a small amount or give the complex away they would go to prison for the act. This makes sense to me but it also has me thinking over this weekend that the people of Coventry do get to decide what happens to the complex and we may be a part of the solution if we could agree how

i think that the football club will be run at a certain level where losses can be manipulated to cover group profits or some other manipulation that us plebs can never understand.

It depends how much the car is then worth doesn't it...

It's worth what people will pay or what the seller will accept. That is literally the only definition of worth.
