We got 21 points from our last 19 games after the Leicester victory

We had an outstanding season two seasons ago. Suddenly we’re being recognised as a team that should “do something”. I think people’s beef is your need to sensationalise everything.. The team has regressed, but I think it’s a case of taking a few steps back to go forwards. We were *extremely* lucky the last couple of seasons with recruitment. Gyokeres is a 100m€ striker and current top 3 in the world. Hamer is an outstanding championship/premier league midfielder as is Sheaf. We were never going to replace them like for like. There will be mistakes along the way.

I agree it's very early to judge, like everyone else, what I've seen has been poor. To say we have done this the last few seasons and ended up doing well in the league and the cup are both valid and things we should be extremely happy with given where we were, but questioning progression in terms of how we start the season in particular is valid imo.
Why cant we be one of those teams that starts well for a change? that would be immediate progression for me, what are the other teams that are doing well at the start doing differently?

We aren't the only team who did business and brought in new players, other teams have been doing it as well so it's not always an excuse, if we started well for a change that might be the extra bit we need to get over the line.
