Surprise. If you two shared a bed it would be sodden before an eye was closedI actually agree with @GIMOC tbf, last season we had the excuse of gelling, this season we just seem to be all over the place. There’s no clear play style, we’re easy to defend against, weak when we’re pressed, wasteful with chances, maybe I’m being a bit harsh seeing as it’s only 4 games into the season but I really don’t like what I’ve seen so far.
I think we will be fineTo be fair, I'm not one of those people but I am saying it this season.
I think we'll struggle to turn it around.
The same arguments have been had the same time of year for the past two seasons and things haven't ended up too bad in the end
I would say I can't believe the meltdown after four games, but I can

It’s not been piss poor though has it. We were excellent against Oxford and OK v Bristol and for 45 minutes yesterday. Could be better of course but “it’s all been piss poor” is just lazy.

Can it really be that every game we get something from we were either lucky or playing reserves???ok vs Bristol? Did you watch the game?
we were awful and lucky to get a point
People banging on about the midfield being the issue yesterday when Jack Stacey ripped Bidwell a new one for 70 minutes
Bidwell is just past it. Da Silva first choice from now on 100%And yet people think RB position needs a lot of attention…
Far more concerning than our poor run at the start of last season IMO, we look very easy to play against.Personalty I'm looking purely at our 4 league games this season and I'm concerned with what I've seen.
Agreed! Not worried about results this early but am really upset about what seems no plan, lack of energy, no pressing, something is not right somewhere. We a 4.5million on a player that is comfortable playing on the left wing and coming in to the forwards and we dont play in there? We play Wright in a left wing position and starve him of the ball! We managed to get Tats & Van-eyvak going as a unit and the resultant crosses are great but no forward is coming in? I could carry on but MR is the manager and needs to sort itPersonalty I'm looking purely at our 4 league games this season and I'm concerned with what I've seen.
100% agree I would go binks/kitching/ thomas with Da silva and MVEGenuinely think we could do much worse than going 5 at the back
Agreed the back bone of Wilson Mcnally Fadz Doyle Hamer Sheaf and Gyokeres was our strongest in 20 odd years. And at the minute I’m not seeing the progress we should be making if we are aiming to be top flight in the next 2 years
the Luton playoff final was probably our biggest or best chance of promotion and we fluffed it
Thomas needs to play, he has the potential to be a very good Centre halfAgreed the back bone of Wilson Mcnally Fadz Doyle Hamer Sheaf and Gyokeres was our strongest in 20 odd years.
I've consistently said we need a new right sided centre back and a midfielder that has aggression and will make it horrible for opponents.
We aren't that far away in my opinion. But the club didn't sign a centre back or a centre mid and its now evident we need those 2 positions strengthening.
I do believe we will ultimately achieve promotion but in a season or 2. It won't be with because of Torp, Eccles, Thomas, Binks these lads for me just haven't got what it takes but will ultimately be with us along the journey.
But we gotta stay faithful and keep putting pressure on the club and players because at the end of the day we have seen Hamer, Gyok, O'Hare or move on and they can't be replaced, Sheaf will be next if we are not quick to improve on our weaknesses.
His defensive qualities are good he just can't pass a ball six yards. We play out from the back and Thomas simply can't do this. So you either don't play out from the back and play him or you buy a centre back better than him with the ball at their feet and can defend on par with Bobby.Thomas needs to play, he has the potential to be a very good Centre half

I wouldn’t have. Bidwell has been at fault for nearly all goals conceded.Knee jerk as usual! Bidwell had a poor game undoubtedly, but if Da Silvas sloppy pass at the end of the game had led to a goal as it easily could have you would have been singing a different tune.
It’s not just one poor game though. I don’t think he’s been at it so far all season.Knee jerk as usual! Bidwell had a poor game undoubtedly, but if Da Silvas sloppy pass at the end of the game had led to a goal as it easily could have you would have been singing a different tune.
Kind of makes sense weirdly, play 2 in midfield. Sheaf and then let Torp, Rudoni, Eccles battle it out for the second place. Don't need to play Allen unless emergency.Genuinely think we could do much worse than going 5 at the back
Exactly this. I’d probably Thomas Kitching and Binks.Kind of makes sense weirdly, play 2 in midfield. Sheaf and then let Torp, Rudoni, Eccles battle it out for the second place. Don't need to play Allen unless emergency.
Front three from Wright, Simms, Emc, BTA, Bassette and Sakamoto. MVE and Da Silva/Bidwell wing backs, Lati, Thomas and Kitching/Binks in defence.
money is irrelevant it’s what you bring in and in what positions
money doesn’t guarantee success
everyone knows we needed more in the middle and it wasn’t addressed
balance of the squad isn’t great and that’s showing on the pitch

You’ve got an additional defender though. Centre backs who can play through the lines, perfect wing backs and Bassette/BTA and definitely Wright could be very good inside forwards. Wright already isFuck me if you thought our midfield was weak before!
It's a difficult one, if your weak in an area do you overload that area with even more shit players in hope lots of shit makes something less shit.Fuck me if you thought our midfield was weak before!

not saying it’s the right alternative, but it’s an option to go 5. We never go a season without a formation change
I wouldn’t have. Bidwell has been at fault for nearly all goals conceded.
not knee jerk at all, anyone can see he’s not been good enough
offers nothing going forward too, not technically good enough to play a possession based style, time for JDS
