Think it’s a good signing for 2.5 mil up front. Tricky player who’s job will be to create and let’s be honest o’hare was hardly prolific

Again, it’s a fairly hefty transfer fee but will be relatively low wages compared to the rest of the league. Seems more and more obvious that Doug is more than happy to fund transfer fees for players that he think are an asset and will be sold on for more. What he won’t do is spend big wages on players who won’t make the club money in the future
I think you are right about doug he's a shrewd business man and investor, through his hedge fund he has made millions betting
against the oil and commodity markets.I reckon he is wealthier than we all think and he sees us as another investment oppurtunity,

Simon jordan said to him on radio that doug had far more money than he did , so if Simon jordon knows that maybe he does have a fair bit

Coventry City are splashing out £6 million plus extras on Huddersfield winger Jack Rudoni to end a long chase for the talented star.
The Sky Boys refused to give up on Rudoni and their total offer is close to the £10 million demanded by the relegated Terriers.
The compromise figure is a big sum for Coventry who are aiming for promotion while it gives Michael Duff finances to revamp his side.

It beggars belief that people still give Nixon any credibility.

The same Simon Jordan who took Palace into administration losing about £40mil of his own wealth? The same Simon Jordan who lost several £million on Spanish property deals? The same Simon Jordan who lost £6million when Lehman Brothers went bust? The same Simon Jordan who described himself as a very rich man without any money?

Are we really still even reading Nixons articles?

I can find nothing from any reputble site. I can also find claims he's worth $5mil. Don't get me wrong, I'd quite like to be worth $5mil, but there's absolutely nothing official out there.

Had a peek at the Huddersfield forum. Opinions on him are divisive to say the least. Some think he will go up a level playing with better players, some think he has no end product and they can buy better with the money they get for him.
When I’ve seen him play he seems quite inventive. Always looking for pockets of space and to get on the ball to try and create. I think he will be excellent for us

Yeah I'm not worried. tbf I think we often trivialise what other fans think, but in this case we've had plenty of opportunity to see him with our own eyes either against us or on Sky games so can actully make our own judgements before he rocks up for a change!
