Can I just point you in the direction of how shit it used to be supporting this club

And how much we should appreciate what we are now

Fucking Zinedine kilbane

Very true, I just hope the recruitment ceases this season’s opportunity with both hands. We’ve been working up to this for a while and now we have shitter teams relegated from the prem, other teams like Leeds in financial trouble and us with probably the best momentum in the league, fans all with the direction of the club rather than against it in the case of some clubs, I think we have a genuine golden opportunity ahead of us this season. That’s the only reason why I bang on some much about getting the best players in, because we have to have the best players if we want to beat the best in the league.

(I realise that may come across as a TED-talk but I’m just very hopeful for us this season which is rarely the case with me 😂)

If nobody is getting the point, is it that nobody is getting the point or that you're spouting bollocks?;)
I wouldn’t like to say 😉😂

(I do think it’s quite a simple concept though, consideration of more leagues should mean better choice of players, but anyway I’ve gone over it now so I’ll leave it there you’ll be pleased to know 😂)

It’s all down to that end product when you play as a ten. That’s what you’re judged on. His passing is not a major strength. He’s fine but he’s not a player who is going to split a defence five times a game with his passing. I would say he tends to look for the shot and he does have good instincts for the areas to get into, so there’s that to build on.

And if they want him to replace Callum O’Hare, he’s always in the right place for a cut-back to come to him. It’s literally just his finishing that needs work. There’s a lot of shots that go just wide, against the post and that kind of thing. It’s not as though he was shanking it out for a throw-in every time he took a shot. He often went close but just didn’t hit the target often enough.

....I have watched Coventry a lot over the last few seasons and have always admired how hard working and organised they are, and I think Mark Robins and the fans are going to love his work-rate and ability to do the dirty work, which a lot of attacking players don’t always do. It’s not necessarily a given with players like that, but you get that with Jack. His tackles per game are very high for an attacking midfielder and I can see him fitting in at Coventry.

Got a feeling he will play 8 for us I recall the season before last Robins making some specific comments in his post match press conference about everything going through him. I suspect he will be our back up 10 but time will tell.

"His Passing is not a Major Strength" suggest he's not a number 8.

Let’s not forget we have Torp too.

Sheaf, Torp, Eccles, Rudoni, Palmer …… add another CDM and that is quite a midfield given we only play 3…

Can’t pass, no end product, can’t wait. It’ll be like O’Hare never left.

Give him a chance mate, not like you 😂 jeez.

So fantastic energy pressing from the front, never giving the opposition a second on the ball, the ability to get us up the pitch quickly and link the midfield to the attack.

Sounds good!

If O’Hare still gave those things he wouldn’t be scratting around for a contract right now.

Well, possibly not any more, but the point still stands; if this lad gives us what the bloke we tried hard to keep gave us, then that's a good thing.
I suspect he will give us more. If everyone takes off the tinted specs O'Hare didnt offer much from March onwards. Not a single goal or assist, bar the deflected wembley goal, since Stoke away. His mind was elsewhere and he couldnt wait for the season to finish.
