Every time he over lapped emc fucked the pass up.
They’d clearly drilled that move in training (similar to how MVE and Sakamoto do) but every time EMC checked his run to make the pass, Bidwell was so far behind the play that Sheff Utd could recover easily.

Fact is if jds put in same performance you would give him hell

You just love bidwell and will always show bias to him. It's so obvious in maths threads

Some people do it with Allen too.
No mate, if Dasilva had put in the same performance I would say exactly the same. I have Bidwell a 5 in the player ratings. Hardly a ringing endorsement.

I think it’s there for all to see that we lack quality at LB, especially going forward. How many times did EMC and Bidwell get the ball last night and just offer ZERO threat?

As for Binks, I honestly think the only future he has at this club is at LB… yep, honestly believe that’s where he should be.

Is it too much to hope that the club gave him a new contract so they can get something for him in the summer, rather than going on a free? I assume the way he's been playing is because he doesn't want to move!

@Grendel make sure you've got a big box of tissues ready when you open this thread, going to be a tough read for you 😥

Not really - he had a poor game. Still whatever, I’ll be at the game next week and you will be looking at it from your bedroom

He's had many poor games now and most of the forum seem to want him gone. I know that will upset you.

And I'll be there next week as well so once again that one doesn't land.

Why do we have to keep digging players out, it’s the whole squad who’s got us this far, we all know LB‘s a problem, it’ll get sorted in the summer,

Like all players, their form fluctuates. Bidders has not been at his absolute best lately. Hopefully a temporary lapse in form.
Not great against Derby or Sheff U, but neither were the rest.
JDS has been brilliant in the last couple of games. However against Diaz I feel he would have struggled.
As said before, if our position is decided this season, and we have more games, I would try Binks at left back. We tried Kitch and it did not work, but you never know.

The fear when they get to Bidwell's sort of age is "is a temporary loss of form or is the start of the inevitable decline of a player getting into their 30's?"

Do you have any stats to support this?

You should show them to Frank Lampard as he has given him a new contact
