Fashanu was professional in 1990 was he not? At least Daniels will not face the bullying from his own manager that the former did anyway.

Pretty sure he had finished being a professional footballer in England and was paying in the states at the time he came out, but I may be wrong. I think he ping ponged between America/Canada and non league over here.

That said, the way he was treated no wonder its taken so long for some to come out again. Like you said earlier the treatment bjz brother gave him, and still his attitude when his daughter did that documentary on Justin is still disgraceful.
