Last season was an exception not the rule. He struggles even in league two to get more than 1 in 3 - he's a 14 goal a season striker normally.
It's a moot argument anyway. I highly doubt we'll play 2 up front, Robins has never done it at Cov as far as I recall

We've plenty of gaps and goals to find and fill in this side/squad and a target man has to be a must for league two

I remember reading somewhere that he scored the majority of his goals when playing with a big man tbf. I think Collins would be a good addition. Looks to have the physicality as well as a good bit of mobility.Yeah sure he's played the role just ain't as effective it seems, plays better as a two in a 442 or as a 3 in behind a target/lone man.
I'm sure a Pompey fan said it too that he linked up well with a big man.
I read he also like to arrive late in the box, not one for creating his own goals and leading the line it seems
