The amount of weight he's put on, Parkin could run him close in a 60 yard dash! And as a footballer, he has an asset in strength: what does Freddy have, aside from one of the worst goalscoring records a "striker" has ever had at this club? He's never scored in his numerous sub performances, yet people think he'd improve our options from the bench? Even if that was true when he was in prime condition, it won't be in his current state.

Never understood all the people who always said that "he is proven at this level", whenever he's been questioned in the past.

Not at all, scored a few goals in the first half of his season at Southend in the Championship, think scored about 11 league goals, only one or two after January that season.

Scored about three goals for Wolves, when we snapped him up from who many called "Mad Mick" for letting him go, scored four or five I think in his first full season with us, and pretty much kept up that below average since.

Skilfull, yes, but so is the World Record Holder Keepy-Uppy Champion, doesn't mean he's any good at scoring goals though.

The problem with Eastwood is in his head. The amount of times he admires his own pass instead of continuing to join in play and bust a gut to get in the box and get a chance was infuriating.

Waste of space, talent and wages. He's record at this level is shocking. He'll go back to Southend on a free this summer where he can take up his mantle of big fish in a little pond and get away wondering around the pitch with his hands on his hips and chewing gum.

Any player that quite obviously can't be bothered to get fit is a disgrace. Eastwood is not the type of personality we need for our current state of affairs. The fact he is on a decent wage as well irritates me.

When he eventually leaves, I'll be happy he is off the wage bill.

I had a chat with Coleman about Freddie when he was manager- Even he was saying then, that Freddie needed to give himself a kick up the backside or he was wasting everybody's time

Coleman was the manager who signed Freddie, but was he a coleman signing, a Ranson signing or a Thorn signing

Either way he will have cost us around £3m in fees and wages, and we will have got nothing for him
If nothin else, I would get him to re-tarmac the drive at Ryton
100% a Coleman signing imo, he wanted to sign Eastwood when he was manager at Fulham.

Yes, I remember the interview where he said he very nearly signed him for Fulham, but thought he was a "little bit short in a few areas".

And as for Mad Mick-one thing all his players do at Wolves is graft, which has probably kept them in the Prem ahead of more gifted squads. That's why he preferred-and actually got more out of-Kevin Kyle than he did Freddy!

Never understand people who say "we have a 20 goal a season" man and Thorn refuses to play him. Eastwood wouldn't get 20 goals in his career in the championship. Too slow and no natural striker instinct. McCarthy could hardly contain his glee when he sold him. Never understand why most fans have let him get away with it. Other players get slated for far less.

Most will know I am not Thorn's biggest ally but at least he had the sense to end the wasters career and confirm many peoples suspicions of him. Who wanted him -- Plymouth? Says it all. Bye bye good riddance.

He may not be 20 goals a season but he is a natural finisher IMO and has the wrong attitude.
