Sunderland about to sign Jermaine Defoe.
Hes almost 40 and hes played 2 games this season?
40 today isn't what it was 10-15 years ago.
Think Walker might be sent out on loan , he played at Lincoln for the Portsmouth manager so could be a link ( think they have the same agent)So with Better days hint at a senior fringe player going out on loan, this window is becoming quite interesting.
I'm still hoping Tavares, Bapaga, Bilson, Reid and Ngandu go out on loan but i'm not sure it will happen.
Didnt he play for Lincoln under Appleton rather than Cowleys?Think Walker might be sent out on loan , he played at Lincoln for the Portsmouth manager so could be a link ( think they have the same agent)

Would be a good signing for them. Hopefully will buy him if they get promotedThink Walker might be sent out on loan , he played at Lincoln for the Portsmouth manager so could be a link ( think they have the same agent)
I take it a replacement will come ? Unless Tavares will fill in for the rest of the seasonWould be a good signing for them. Hopefully will buy him if they get promoted
With a view to bringing another attacker in you think @Skybluebeliever?Think Walker might be sent out on loan , he played at Lincoln for the Portsmouth manager so could be a link ( think they have the same agent)
Ah just looked. Played for them in the season the Cowleys left. Only played for a month under CowleysNo
Lincoln City manager Danny Cowley impressed with Nottingham Forest loanee Tyler Walker
Tyler Walker made his Lincoln City debut at the weekend, following his season-long loan move from Nottingham Forest. The Imps began their 2019/20 League One...www.nottinghamforest.news
But they signed him more importantly so obviously rate himAh just looked. Played for them in the season the Cowleys left. Only played for a month under Cowleys

Being greedy I'd like one other centre half, but agreed the squad is looking really healthy.Ideal would be Walker out on loan and an AM/forward in who can compete with O’Hare or play alongside in the box. We’d have a really nicely balanced squad then. Especially if they could also fill in Hamers role.

Plus if he goes out and starts scoring we can bung the asking price up a bit.Would make sense for Walker to go if they're going to cover some of his wages. Now Waghorn is fit he might not get much of a look in and may as well have Tavares keeping a spot on the bench warm than Walker.
Shame as he's clearly a very talented player
Don’t think so , I don’t think a fourth striker would get on the bench at the moment , this Saturday you could have Moore, Dabo, fadz, kelly, waghorne , victor and Maatsen on bench , this hypothetical I know , if all fit and MR played the same teamWith a view to bringing another attacker in you think @Skybluebeliever?
Luke Freeman and Yan Dhanda are both out of contract in 6 months and haven’t gotten much game time at their respective clubs. Both would be good competition for COH imo. Freeman was decent for United just unlucky with better players ahead of him in the pecking order, however has not been very good for Forest, could join us to reignite his form?Dhanda is a decent player but Russell Martin just doesn’t seem to favor him, seems realistic with us bringing in Bidwell from them lot. Just a thought.Would really like for us to bring in an AM, if possible, who can score goals to take the place of Walker who looks to be going out on loan and also add much-needed depth and steel in our midfield. Kelly’s days look numbered and COH is great, but lacks an end product. Allen is decent in a supporting role.

Would love us to go after Jamie Paterson as rumours are he might leave Swansea by the end of the transfer window
Liam Walsh has also only played 4 games for them so far and not being used. Another one I’d happily take.

Freeman always looks overweight to me and like a player who needs a consistent run of games, something we may be unable to offerLuke Freeman and Yan Dhanda are both out of contract in 6 months and haven’t gotten much game time at their respective clubs. Really like the shout of Yan Dhanda. Granted, not really a goal scoring midfielder but a good player that can seemingly cover any of the midfield/AM slots.
Sanderson being made available for loan, most likely back to blues again. Would love to get him in here. Looked excellent.
