Same reason we ever considered Martin Cranie, we need squad depth with only 2 first team strikers available and an untested Tavares. I too think they’re both dogshit but I don’t see any better options. Loan? I don’t see how a young untested lad that isn’t even our player would be a safe bet for rotation, why not just play Tav at that point. It’s 50/50.

An untested youth player who is likely fit will be cheaper than a dogshite veteran who is likely to command a decent wage.

Can’t see Tavares doing any worse than Walker as a sub who hardly got used and the few times he started wasn’t exactly brilliant was he.

I was at both games were you ? And yes he scored two good goals and I suppose that’s what he is paid to do but those goals apart in my opinion contributed little else in either game.

Yes i was at the games and your argument is poor. He is paid to score goals, which he did, and yet you still think he is shit. Moore let in 4 goals in those 2 games is he shit? Walker has started 5 games this season, 1 of which he went off after 14 minutes, and has scored 2 goals.
I get it you dont rate him but at least justify your argument with some actual decent facts rather than the standard 'oh he doesnt contribute much else apart from goals'
