Depends on your starting point of course. You could argue we massively overachieved between '67-'01...I love reading posts from people that seem to think we are a L2/L1 club on a surge into the dizzy heights of the 2nd division, having spent a sum total of 9 years down there from the last 55. Hedge funds are all about RoI. They are never going to get a better chance than this season.It is, we agree on that, but I know that Sisu are a hedge fund and are not here for their love of football, they are not interested in investing in the club, they want us self sufficient. And the club have 2 bad years to claw back. I know that so I don’t get angry about it because it won’t change anything until they have gone. They are clearly keeping us for a reason and it’s not for the love of football. If they wanted out I think we would get a buyer but they don’t so I enjoy the season anyway because it’s been a lot better than I expected. And you can say I have a lack of ambition, I haven’t got a lack of ambition I’d have loved MR to strengthen in ever position this January to push for the play off, but he can’t
