Its clear that when teams nullify our wingbacks we lack creativity in CM. Hamer as a CDM doesn't work but he can't push on because of O'hares role. A Paterson/ Mowatt type player is what we need, and maybe a left footed left back to give maatsen competition. Thoughts?

Centre mid is most important part of pitch, think we need to go one up top when wag horn isn’t fit unless sign a decent centre mid in Jan like did with James last year

A CB, LWB, AM but we won't loan another LWB so I'll take just the AM and CB

Think we need to spend a bit of money to give us a boost for the second half of the season to get our challenge back on track

Another CAM is the priority. Ideally a young loan player from a top PL side.

Robins clearly wants rid of Jobello, Shipley, Hilsner etc. The problem is, who's going to take them?

We missed Allen today West Brom had too much time on the ball in midfield today no pressing

Could we not give Jodi Jones a chance in that position first to see if it would work?

Clearly not at the level. He was good when he came on against Bournemouth, but Robins hasn't tried him all season.

There's more chance of him leaving in January.

I’m hopeful that Eccles return will be able add quality to midfield. I was really impressed with how he ended last year.

As others have said, an AM.

Reasonably well covered elsewhere (except another left footed LWB, but we're not going to sign another wing back.)

Centre back is priority for sure. Our defenders have done well this season, but we're an injury away from being down to the bare bones.

1) A genuine left back (in the mould of Todd Kane) so we can switch to a back 4 when we need more presence in midfield. At the moment this is missing a round peg for a round hole.

2) A left footed centre back.

3) A playmaker who can boss the midfield

4) A speed merchant CAM.

We need 1) and at least two of 2) 3) 4)

Largely agree but I think we have 3 and 4 doesn't have to be that fast

Going to depend on our owner, the prize of the Premiership and its money is a gamble with top loans think we have two at the moment so could have three more is that gamble worth it ? and more importantly does our owner have the will.

Got to disagree with that, he's been getting little cameos past couple of games and done well i thought, like u said done well against Bournemouth then set Godden up vs Huddersfield.

Think there's more chance of staying and MR giving him more opportunities....PUSB

To be honest after such a long lay off I dont think he has been anywhere near ready until now, so early days. Unless they think a loan and game time would benefit him ahead of next season.

Two loans at most. I’d take a CB and an AM I think. Or a CM and AM if Hamer goes.

Need a LWB! Perhaps Mcallum will come back now that QPR are not starting him so much, Dont think he would though?

Can’t have two LWBs on loan, look at last season.

He's out of contract in the summer so loaning him out is basically giving him away for free after paying his wages for 3 yrs to get him back playing can't see that happening

“Clearly”

You do know he’s just had 3 ACL’s don’t you ?

I think given the chance JJ could play himself into the team left side midfield on a regular basis has a peach of a left foot and rarely waists a pass. Don’t see him as a O’Hare alternative at all. His first task was to prove his fitness he’s done that another 12/24 month contract would be okay for me.
