We’re not getting promoted this year though are we.Agree to a point but surely the real value for DK will be created by the team achieving promotion? I get not over extending on loans, but a couple of astute loans to help create a winning team, preforming well, will in tern increase the value of the other players in the team.

Still does not make much sense not having them. Would you rather a young LB who turns out to be not good enough/ready who can go back to parent club after 6 months or sign someone like Da Silva on a 4 year contract who will be hard to move on.

Having both Simms and BTA on the books is too much of an overhead given they'll both be on significant contracts and neither are really starting consistently.
To be honest I think there's an argument to be made that Simms could be the more likely to be moved on but it's whether clubs would be willing to match his wages and what kind of bids we receive.
