Got some news, but its not transfer related

Sheaf minimum of 6 weeks out. Scan done today

We HAVE to get a midfielder in or we are in real trouble

Eccles Torp Allen as the CM options for the next 10 games 🤢🤢🤢
Sheaf has been poor for a while, could be a blessing in disguise if it forces our hand to get a couple of CMs in.

If sheaf is out for a bit and we don’t sell him, would probably just go for a 4-3-3 with Joel playing the DM
week GIF

Lati too but that leaves no option at right back and weakens the central defensive options too.

It begs the question why did we send Kai Andrews on loan at he's probably the only other possibility in the squad that naturally plays there.

Don’t think we could play Kai in one of the two DM roles, if you wanted to use one of the younger lads, maybe Kai Yearns as the ten?

Oh yeah let’s all turn on our club captain and great servant sheaf, nobody wants to address the real problems though
I like Sheaf but I think he would've benefitted from some time out the team, he's not played well recently. But dropping an established captain as a new manager is a bit of a no no so I can se why Lampard didn't do it. Not turning on him at all.

Maybe not, I've only seen him play for 5 mins I think but if he went in as a number 10 Rudi could drop back once the left wing is covered again.

It's looking very light on options to me.

If the rumours were true that teams were in for Sheaf last summer for big money, it's absurd we didn't sell him.
Not forgetting he was one of the best midfielders in the league last year? Oh yeah let’s weaken our already weak midfield even more

There was no big money offers in the summer anyway, was just made up on here

At the start of the season, people were creaming themselves over our strength in depth, well fuck me, we're down to bare bones very quickly and looking ragged-arsed
The whole shitshow is a shambles and King & co need to step up fucking soon.

Perhaps getting injured before the season even started put an end to that possibility.

To be fair a lot of people thought we were short in midfield.
That's why thin skinned King decided to speak about it at the forum and tell us we were wrong, the fucking tit
