Absolutely agree, some of this is coming from our side. Sounds like we're absolute pulling the defence apart. Maybe Lampard isn't as daft as some seem to think...It's probably a bit of both to be honest. In terms of I suspect Lampard and his staff have probably had some tough conversations with certain players over the past weeks and has identified those which either aren't good enough or just aren't the right fit to move on.
But also there will inevitably be players which just want to find new clubs as expectations haven't been met, which to be fair is their prerogative.
It won't be a case of everyone jumping ship to save themselves. As poor as this season is, we're not in that bad of a situation.

Tbf to Kitching, he’s made one start under Lampard and only 7 all season.
Blackburn are seeing if he’s available for loan as he is seemingly surplus to requirements based on game time.
Yep bring back Sisu or any other hedge fund that doesn't want to reinvest.Doug king out, the clown hasn’t got a fucking clue
Ah yes, the good old bring sisu back argument when criticising DougYep bring back Sisu or any other hedge fund that doesn't want to reinvest.
yes - like most fans, we want signings, but having 'berated' 90% of our squad, we get twitchy at the thought of those same players leaving (albeit less so if we know we get appropriate replacements). FL strikes me as an intelligent man, and you would hope that he will stand his ground in terms of demanding the balance of movement is correct.Get this window wrong and it could get very bad indeed.

Its a defence we seemed very happy to go into the season with, we even went out of our way sign Binks up on a permanent. It doesn't take a footballing genius to realise the defence is absolute shite tbf
Brave call to do it in January though, if that is what we're doing. If Lati and Kitching both go then we'll need to sign 3 defenders (2xCB, 1xRB).
Blame the owner is all you ever say. Please tell us where the Sovereign state or billionaire owners are that are queuing around the block to buy us. We are in the best financial position we have been in years but that's not good enough, Chelsea over the last 3 years have spent 1.34 Billion pounds on transfers and it still isn't right. Guess what, being rich doesn't mean it buys success on the pitch. DK will come good, its an industry he is still earning about and he has been naive in some aspects. Even better, you can put a consortium of like minded investors together and buy him out! Melt.Ah yes, the good old bring sisu back argument when criticising Doug
If Wright's comments at his Tavern appearance shortly after signing are any indication, the players signed summer 2023 onwards have all been pitched on "sign with us for four years, and we'll either get promoted to the premier league in that time or develop you into a better player who will get a good move". It's easy for me to imagine that they may be feeling like the former isn't happening, so they want the latter. Is this cos they think they’re better than they are Billy Big Bollockses? Just odd because ultimately if they want out the situation is mostly their making cos of what happens on the pitch?
Robins warned of this early in the season didn’t he? Saying he only wanted players here who are committed to the project and not seeing us as a stepping stone.
The cup run and performances should have been a massive springboard for this season - the loss of O’hare and palmer surely haven’t had that massive an impact as they seem to.
at least we‘ll know at the end of this window who is actually signing players, there’s no way lampards scraping round league 1 sides , first signings going to be very telling , no pressure
If the Rob Holding rumours have any depth then we might be selling a couple to afford to bring him on board.I don't really get why people are panicking when this is genuinely what most of us wanted and identified as a priority.
We need to revamp the defence as it's nowhere near good enough and hasn't really improved under Lampard.
That being said it's crucial we get it right this time and bring in players that are good enough and are the right fit.
What about not liking Doug king? I was around long before him but good oneThere's a hint of Boosh about skybluedom
That's because as I stated the other day, loads of them want out and are getting their agents working overtime
We have a bunch of pricks as a squad at the moment but to say that means you're a shit fan on here
I’m expecting us to bring in one CM this month at least, so we’ll be in the same position as previous. Not ideal but not a disaster. Not really, (though the relegation bit is OTT).
When you're short in a certain area losing a player hurts and puts pressure on the others that play there, even if the missing player is out of form/shite.
if We want top 6 next season we‘ll need to be aiming a bit higher,The best performer under Lampard is a guy we got from league one
Blackburn got Hyam for a steal couple of years ago. Arguably our best (owned) centre back since our return to the championship along with Fadz.Would be surprised if King sanctioned a cut price deal for Kitching.
You'd think he'd look to recoup the majority of what was initially paid.
Do they become better with them ?What is it with Blackburn and signing our CBs, first Hyam then Fadz now they want Kitching
Get this window wrong and it could get very bad indeed.
We’re not paying him 30k a week ffsWho is paying Binky 30 grand a week though........
Nail on the head , they’ve all seen o hare move on To better, prob think they should get the same, problem is o hare was decent , this lot think they’re better than what they areIf Wright's comments at his Tavern appearance shortly after signing are any indication, the players signed summer 2023 onwards have all been pitched on "sign with us for four years, and we'll either get promoted to the premier league in that time or develop you into a better player who will get a good move". This is obviously conjecture, but I felt at the time and still do that Wright's comments were pretty illuminating.

Blackburn are only gonna want Kitching on loan, not sure that really makes sense for us
