I often wonder if we are just an island full of thick , chavvy , dickheads .. we are aren't we

Yeah but other countries are just a piece of land full of thick chavvy dickheads. I remember Romanian and Polish people I’ve known complaining all the chavvy dickheads were following them over and they came here to get away from them.

This selection of gems is why no one is taking it seriously 😂

I just had a Google search at half time following some of the stuff I had seen on this thread and social media is absolutely out of control.

'Has anyone had chance to leave a machete, he might see it and pick it up'

'Madeline Mcann has donated £5 to the Just Giving page'

'Jay Slater going missing has done nothing but show just how stupid the average UK person is. These people are the reason we need to write 'do not drink' on bleach bottles and car batteries.'

This shit is actually mental.

The UK is very unique. You really notice it more the more you spend outside of it.

We have some great people and our normal level of mannerism is fantastic, but you have a large percentage that are really the laughing stock of many other countries. Was part of the reason I worked so hard to learn other languages - I just couldn't be that person shouting and gesturing in English and getting taken the piss out of by locals.

Funny story - was in Indonesia a couple of years ago. 6am, people going to work. In the distance through the mist some woman stumbles forward and cocks her leg on a dustbin like a dog, and takes a massive piss. I knew she would be English without question, but sure as day and night, a local shouted at her and she screamed back 'faaaackkk offff' in a broad essex accent. Priceless.

And another thing….

So much doesn't make sense including why he chose to walk 11 hours rather than waiting 2 hours for the next bus!

I think the word Chav is obselete now, there's no council houses left, violence though still persists!

I once completed a questionnaire that concluded I was officially 62% chav....
...FACT!

I once completed a questionnaire that was intended to predict your life expectancy. It forecast that I would die at the age of 32.

There was something about it that made me think that it wasn't entirely accurate.

It was probably the fact that I was in my early 50s at the time.

Sad but not surprising Saddlebrains finds this desperate story 'exciting'.

Hahahaha shutup you quilt, millions in the UK find it a joke. Convicted criminal drug dealer bites off more than he can chew in Tenerife and we're all expected to feel sorry for him?

Grow a pair

I DID die when I was 32, which has always created a notion of bewilderment in me.

Only good thing to come out of it is when people say stuff like "Oh, don't live in the past" and I say "I don't, I died." 🤪

I wasn't even aware of the story until I've read through this thread and have now wasted an hour on a Sunday going through the Facebook discussion group.
Some of it is absolutely deranged

This is why I've not deleted Facebook

A bloke that gangs up and attacks someone with a machete and then laughs about it in court isn't contributing much to society. In turn, isn't worth much of my sympathy.

His family on the other hand, he is still a brother/son/etc. It's not their fault he's a wrong'un.

Mad to think his mum is probably going to get tens of thousands because her son is a c**t.

My mum will be fuming she isn't.

I read the story of the attack, and the judges summing up where he didn't jail them as they were young and needed a chance, I was expecting them all to be about 15 or 16, then read they were all fucking adults, 18 year olds attacking one bloke, our society has gone mad, do the crime do the time. Am not saying I believe all of the stuff that is now coming out about over in Tenerife, but if this girl he was with is reported to be a main drug dealer/mule then surely the police would have her in their sights, or are the police playing their cards close to their chest as they know what is really going on
