nikki sinclaire seems to have gone into hiding with joy diversion too.So your suggestion is that if they (Otium) don't want talks then they don't want to return to Coventry? Didn't Joy Seppala say in the interview with Nikki Sinclaire that they would be willing to talk with the Council?
thats a copywrite, see you in court

And Joy is renowned for telling the truth. Ask the last two judges she has come against.
Why would she lie? "Oh we aren't going to move Coventry back we will move them to Northampton?" What benefits would there be to move there? Can't think of any..
FFS are you married to her?
I'm in a bit of a dilemma here my oldest boy who is 7 next week and he is adament he supports cov, and I promised that I would take him to his first game when he is 7 , now I want sisu out and agree with NOPM, but what do I do, ps money is tight so really can't travel !

I wish everyone would stop referring it to Jimmy's Hill..

Why, the end s called Jimmy's End and the hill behind it has been adopted to Jimmy's Hill. I think he would be very proud of us naming it after him.

It is part of the strategy to distress ACL, they want to buy the Arena for very little. Obvious to most by now surely?

Some can't get their heads around that. SISU's attempts to distress ACL and acquire an asset which they didn't pay a penny for are totally obvious and deplorable.
This is the only reason why they would take the Council to court over their loan.
If anyone has another reason then I'd love to hear it.
Everyone keeps saying distress however as one councillor said that the Arena was ailing business even with CCFC as tenants..
Now I am not saying that by withholding the rent was a correct action by SISU, however people are saying the word "Distress" if it is true what some have been saying ACL has been in a bad position for a while now.
Rob. Stop for a second and try to explain why they are suing the Council for taking on the mortgage.
Go for it.
The Ricoh Arena is a failing business with or without CCFC.

But even more likely to fail when tenants dont pay bills?
A failing business that made over £1m profit last year? Take out the rent and associated costs of putting on matches and its breaking even.
It will need to diversify if the club never returns, but cashflow wise it's secure for the time being. As income is reduced I imagine overheads will be too. It will have to make savings.
Football clubs are fine examples of failing businesses. Ones that used to have crowds of 21000 but relocate to towns away from its name and now see attendances of around 1,800 are perhaps the finest examples out there of a failing business...

But thatb is it's actual name the whole area is called jimmy's corner I believe check it out?
We all best hope that ACL is financially secure. If it is they can afford to wait before taking any drastic action regarding use for the pitch area.
If they are struggling, then they will have to do something quick with it, which will kill any prospect of Coventry City ever playing in Coventry again.
Would the council be prepared to fund out more costs to change the Arena, Roof, Pitch Modifications, etc? Without any guarantee that it will prove to be successful?

Why would I do that? You almost sound proud of it?!
Can I just ask though; do you WANT SISU to own the Ricoh?
I really don't. I don't trust them to own it, they can't be trusted.
