the job love in reminds me of the baker love in
both very similar players, both fall over, misplace passes, wave their arms about, and both have very active social media accounts

i stated before how i thought he'd been pretty shit for 12 months, but since being back in the side , hes definitely shown hes a starter
lets not forget that hes spent a 3rd of this season on the bench or not even making the teamsheet at all, then we have thread after thread on here proclaiming him to be the player of the season, of the thread killer the other day, player of the year??? like whaaaaat? he was gash after xmas and started this season equally.
right now hes showing spirit for sure, but fuck me he cant last an hour?? a pro footballer cant do an hour?? shocking

anyways, hes not the messiah, and neither was fanboy baker, i sometimes shake my head at how these 2 guys can do no wrong
and a quick fact, MAF has a couple MOM this season, JOB has had nil at last count
just sayin

I really like JOB. Yes he's frustrating and yes he makes mistakes and sometimes tries too hard but his energy and desire is second to none. He gets the younger lads going and tactically he's very clever. Important member of the team and squad.

Sorry, gives plenty of effort but little end product, about at his level, if able I'd replace him

To be fair you said you'd replace him with Bigiamara as Bigiamara is clearly the better player.

You win games with the energy and drive of an O Brien - you don't with a defensive square passing trundler like Bigiamara

Lol must you troll in 2 threads? We get it you hate bigirimama

I do not hate anyone you fool. I suggest you look at the posts regarding O Brien on this thread and tackle their issues with him.

I don't see praising a player as a "love in" or criticism of a player as "hate". Just sayin'.

I can think of some decent assists he has got. He's no world beater, but I'd have him over Kent every day.
I would respectfully disagree, think we may go Kent, Murphy, Maddison, Armstrong tomorrow would be exciting with 1 on 1 treats in all forward areas.

I'd be very surprised if JOB doesn't start tomorrow.

I first noticed JOB in the cup game away at Barnsley 2 years ago when I thought he was their best player. Last season I thought he was often the only City player worth watching. This season I think he is one of our main players, we seem to suffer when he is not in the team. He is a skilful, exciting and wholehearted player. I would say the same about Carl Baker and I also think MAF brings more to the team than Tudgay. All about opinions.

That remark is very key 'We seem to suffer when he's not in the team.' I don't think anyone else plays with that kind of energy and drive and he is also an intelligent player in his passing and movement.

He's created some great opportunities for others with his through balls and set up a number of goals.

Of course he's not perfect, if he was he wouldn't be playing League One football.

As you say, when he is out of the team we suffer, because we don't have any other player who provides what JOB brings in terms of energy, drive and passion.

Not perfect, but a key team member I would say.
