Would rather we spent money on a Box to box midfielder as opposed to Worrall
Lati gets a rough ride. He's competent if unspectacular. That's what you expect from a squad player. Plus he's still young enough to improve. It's not practical to have ~25 top quality players in a Championship squad.
His cause hasn't exactly been helped by being used in so many positions.Lati gets a rough ride. He's competent if unspectacular. That's what you expect from a squad player. Plus he's still young enough to improve. It's not practical to have ~25 top quality players in a Championship squad.
Wasn't there also talk that he was playing with an injury at the end of the season? I thought he started quite well and is better than many in here say. However, I wonder whether our change of formation suited him.His cause hasn't exactly been helped by being used in so many positions.
We are lucky to have a player who gives us so many options from the bench, and is professional enough to not spit his dummy out when he doesn't get a run in his favoured position.
Players like Lats are a managers dream, and every squad needs one.
Yes, he was - MR confirmed it, but memories are short on here.Wasn't there also talk that he was playing with an injury at the end of the season? I thought he started quite well and is better than many in here say. However, I wonder whether our change of formation suited him.
This is what I think every time I see someone talk about Lati not being up to it. He was considered to be one of our better signings towards the start of the season...Yes, he was - MR confirmed it, but memories are short on here.
For a good few seasons we’ve been crying out for a utility player who can fill in a couple of positions as cover, and as unspectacular as Lati is, he did that last season.
I genuinely think that some fans have blurred the line between the reality of football, and the expectation of a seamless simulation in Football Manager.
I thought it said the opposite and that we had cooled interest and moved our attentions elsewhere due to wagesTelegraph saying this might be back on.
Did you read the article? Says we made contact but can’t afford his wage demandsTelegraph saying this might be back on.
Well it said the initial issue was that we wanted a loan but talks have taken place so that seems to have shifted. However, wages could be an issue.I thought it said the opposite and that we had cooled interest and moved our attentions elsewhere due to wages
Telegraph saying this might be back on.
Telegraph also saying no new signings are imminent.
Ffs mate, what part of " the club switching their attention to other options" made you think that this was back on?Telegraph saying this might be back on.
Oh for Christs sake...Ffs mate, what part of " the club switching their attention to other options" made you think that this was back on?
I did read it, hence the quote! Wasn't that a big enough clue for you?Oh for Christs sake...
The article says that the Loan/Buy obstacle has been overcome as talks have taken place.
But that wages appear to be an issue. But as we all know, wages are negotiable.
Just read it properly.
You failed to include the word however which appeared shortly afterwards in the article.I did read it, hence the quote! Wasn't that a big enough clue for you?
£4m rated? No thanks
I didn't say it was imminent.
Only that the Loan/Buy issue seems to be resolved.
Wages are negotiable.
He's 27!!Not that I disagree with you, as I think it’s a bit steep for a CB coming towards the end of his career, but I think he’s probably better than the £4m we spent on Kitching and he does have all the qualities we need. I’m torn on this one atm.
Oh sorry, from memory I thought he was 29, my bad (I know 29 isn’t “end of career” but it’s getting towards it, 27 at least gives us a few extra years.)He's 27!!

Yeah Tom’s just corrected me on that, for some reason thought I he was 29. It’s weird that at 29 I think he’s too old but 27 is fineHe's 27
Despite that, he have spoken to the player, which implies that our reluctance to buy, or Forest's reluctance to loan, have changed, otherwise, why bother talking to the player?
Are you really that thick? Go and ask one of your teachers to read it for you.You failed to include the word however which appeared shortly afterwards in the article.
Anyway, I'm too busy for a chat with the cerebrally challenged, so let's leave it there.
Your flogging a dead horse mate, he's as thick as two short planks.
He’s only 27, nowhere the end of his careerNot that I disagree with you, as I think it’s a bit steep for a CB coming towards the end of his career, but I think he’s probably better than the £4m we spent on Kitching and he does have all the qualities we need. I’m torn on this one atm.

You are an angry fat man aren't you? It really isn't my fault mate, get some counselling. Are you really that thick? Go and ask one of your teachers to read it for you.
Is English not your first language or are you mentally challenged?
