I wonder how Luton Town (docked 30 points in similar circumstances) feel about your 10 point deduction. The rules now clearly state that if a club goes into liquidation the penalty should be 15 points, not 10. Another example of the football league's clear bias toward the bigger clubs.
I couldn't agree more. The bigger picture here is that we need other fans to realise what the law and football league regulations have allowed to happen to the club.
We may have benefited from only receiving a ten point deduction, which could well be down to the board using their discretion, but its the boards discretion that has allowed SISU to relocate us to play 'home' games in Northampton.
So the OP makes a valid point and some posters start having a go. Great. That will help galvanise support for any campaign.
Anyway, I'm guessing it is only 10 as we haven't officially gone into liquidation yet. It could also be due to the fact that our owners were the ones that lost the most money, at least on paper rather than other football creditors and HMRC. It's also likely that our owners threatened extensive and expensive legal action against the football league so that the punishment was less harsh than other cases.
If the op is from Charlton, wasn't waggot and Fisher part of your set up a couple of years ago. Is Fisher as warmly remembered there as he is here?
