Do you referee at a professional standard then? Or do you referee at an even worse standard than these dreadful players which must make you not a very good referee?

He’s been on the bench twice this season in the Checkatrade when he was 16 so he’s not a million miles away. Played U23 all season, he’s superb technically but probably needs to work on his tactical understanding of the game

He signed for 2 and a half years which is the longest contract you can offer a player at his age

I’d say academy football (including Ccfc) and the MFL and MJPL are reasonable standards to be an official. That’s not my full time occupation. Terrible comparison at point scoring.
If you really want to have a valued opinion (of which I have based mine on by watching said players over the years) you are most welcome to come and watch any game I am on-that will give you proper informed opinion and you will then be able to judge for yourself.
