If you didn't go to the game or listen then why would you assume that he would be talking about a chance to equalise after Port Vale went 2-0 up? Think about it for a second.

You thought he had a mistake and wrongly assumed he was talking about after Port Vales second goal and were trying to make him look foolish by asking if Wilsons goals count for two and instead ended up falling flat on your face.

No shame in it pal, we've all tried to be clever and ended up making a prat of ourselves at one point in our lives.

Akpom is very skilful but as yet can't seem to deliver the final product. He and Wilson don't seem to have much of an understanding either. ND has much more about him, but then again he's a little older and more wise. He plays much better with Wilson. As Gren said, Thomas was poor, but I think he has been for the majority of the season.

Cheers. I've only seen Fonz at Notts County and wasn't impressed, the ball didn't seem to stick up top, which was our whole game with Clarke.

Delfeanso has some class. He isn't ever going to be a big goalscorer like Clarke but would be a big player in this league.

I'm sure I must have done at least once....probably because I hadn't read it!!

I don't think he's player of the season material, but I also don't think he's as bad as some make out. He was a scapegoat for our early defensive frailties, which continued when he was replaced.

Ofcourse he makes mistakes, I've never said he hasn't, in fact every player in our squad makes mistakes regularly which is why they're playing in league one.

This all sounds very familiar to the threads on Ben Turner a few years ago. By the time he evolved into a real player he was ready to leave. Give Clarke a break and let him mature in the team without being hounded for every single mistake.

On another note it's just like old times seeing the scoresheet read "Clarke & Wilson"

Not sure anyone is saying JC is perfect just not as useless as you always seem to claim. Still not sure you often go to games - Notts County is about the only one you've been too, and from that and a few TV highlights you seem to be able to judge a player better than those of us that actually go. Id rather have Clarke at right back than centre half, but I never want to see Webster and Seabourne paired as centre backs again because they are too similar (not sayting they are rubbish before you put your own particular twist on the comment)

Here we go with the name calling again. Read your comments after the Bradford game and the discussion afterwards where people were defending JC against your comments. Two big centre half the only solution you said. SP left Webster on the bench against Port Vale. And straight answer - how many games have you been to this season

if seaborune and webster dont work it is not down to their height is it? as majority of central defensive partnerships in the football league would have avg height advantage over clarke and most of them would probably have better stats this season too.

you are trying to place blame on poor defensive due to 2 big cb, thats just wrong.

i think clarke has a disadvantage at being short in thst position, on top of that he still makes silly mistakes.

if he eradicates them then fair play but i just not sure he ever will and i would imagine SP will still be on look out for better defenders and imagine none of them will be shorter than clarke.

Dont think he played at Notts. As for NOPM we have away games too - you should try going and supporting your team sometimes you can mostly pay on the gate to get around NOPM. i have seen jordan clarke play in previosu years. this year i have only ever commented on games on tv or highlights of mistakes on youtube. have never dismissed his overall play as i have not seen him play much. i have gone with the general consensus from those who do go away and sixfields regulary who have said he has improved alot.

hence why i have given him a pat on the back many times for improving so much.

just because i still think hes too mistake prone to make it at this level doesnt mean i am a bully and that i hate him. he has made mistakes,as have other centre halves, i want 2 capable CB,both tall if possible. if thats not gonna be seabourne or webster i am sure SP will keep looking. in the mean time i hope JC continues to improve game upon game.
