Doubled in price although not really a huge issue when using it to get season tickets.

It looks like all ages are going to be in the same "group" now rather than being split into different ages (getting different gifts etc).

Looks like the Christmas Party has also been replaced with a "training day".

Not sure the "captains gift set" appeals to the older kids at all, they will be loving getting a captains armband on.

I don't know if it's because my daughter is a bit older now but it doesn't really look that appealing, the Christmas Party was always a major thing.

As it's doubled in the price they could have put a couple on that are targetted at age.

One could be the younger kids and then one for the teenagers.
Or teach the teenagers some responsibility and get them to organise a party for the younger kids

Bollocks to that when you've got a 14 and 12 yo, they are going to the same event whether they like it or not.

Ah yeah, split it into 2 dates then and let people book tickets for either.

Having the players mingling in with all the kids playing football or colouring was one of the best things about it and getting kids into it.

Cov twitter just hinted heavily that there will be discounts for JSB members:
Match ticket details will be confirmed in the coming weeks, however JSB members have in previous seasons

Lots of things have happened in previous seasons though ;)

Randomly I was thinking about this earlier but anyone remember when the club used to do like open day events up at the Connexion and you could pay to take penalties against Oggy etc.?

I also remember going up the Connexion and getting to meet Killer and the team although I think might have been through school or a youth club or something.

Do things like that still happen now or is just the open training sessions at thenCBS etc.?

They used to have the players mingle with the kids playing football at the Christmas parties and stuff like that. They would go round for a bit then sit at a long table where kids could get signatures and photos with them all.

I agree with the earlier comments - for season ticket holders, jsb works well.
For families who can't get to lots of games, the jsb membership used to be offset by the tickets.
The gift never seemed to be available when we asked at the shop (often got something random instead - or nothing).
We enjoyed the Christmas parties, mascot package and card from manager - but with two kids, I will wait until ticket prices are explained before deciding on if it is worth it.

Exactly the same here. If they've stopped providing discounted tickets I can't justify £100 for my two for essentially a christmas card and a bit of cheap tat (which we always forget to pick up in any case).

I remember them. Killer ruffled my hair, I remember thinking he was massive!
