He arrived in a merc mini bus!Joe Cole must have left early. He was there when we first got there but not in the line-up at the end.
Fair play, the whole team are great with the kids. They're all a real credit to the club.
The volunteers too make it!This is great to read. Credit to the organisers, club, players and management.
The volunteers too make it!
If anybody knows any of them, do they get free season tickets or anything?
 Nick! No, 'we' don't. Can't take credit for home games but I do take time off work to do events like today!
Then again, we don't do it for anything in return. Just like to do something that benefits the future fan and family supporters!
Just got home after leaving this morning st 9am. Think it was a success, although we needed more room it was such a good turn out!
I didn't get to see the real reindeer having spent all my time on the tombola! Hopefully anyone who had a go for something out of it (and to those who didn't, sorry)
Hopefully the club will put out a statement of how successful it was. And apart from the queues, which every activity appeared to have, everyone enjoyed themselves!!
Any feedback welcome on this post and I will ensure its passed back to the team, and the club if necessary.
Merry Christmas all!
Is there a way we could start a petition or something for the volunteers? Especially taking a day off work to help (even when they don't have kids!). I'd be more than happy for them all to get free season tickets, or even a free shirt or something as a gesture.
I couldn't believe the queue for the raffle at one point!
Does all money raised go to the jsb for activities?

There are some young lads who do it too, there every week at games. Fair play to them!
I agreeThat's who I meant by organisers. No, they don't get anything for it. Are a very important part of the club.
I agree
They should at least get something from the club to say thank you as some of them put some serious time and effort in!
There should have been some sort of collection for the volunteers, even if it's just to get the coffees in before the games or a few beers or a bottle of wine each.
Yeah just something like that, or a box for them all to go in one gameIMHO club should give them a couple of hospitality tickets to use each year. It technically wouldn't cost them that much, but the thought that counts etc.
Yup, was a great few hours, many thanks to everyone involved. Great to see so many kids in Cov shirts (Santa has been asked for one...).
We were one of the last ones to join the queue for autographs, but fair play to the players and management as they stayed for much longer than the advertised hour and with good humour too (mostly throwing jelly babies at each other!).
I said to Armstrong; 'Same time next year year?...' and he replied with a smile; 'Hope so'. So yer, definitely signing 5 year deal.
Re SW88 and feedback, there may have been a stall that I didn't notice, but some refreshments like squash cartons and snacks for the kids would have gone down well. We ended up going back to the car for some drinks. Minor gripe though!
Definitely! Is there a process anywhere to do it?Im in for putting a £10 note to help with the JSB efforts how about anyone else? I will give it to Tynan Scope (Im sure he will gladly pass it on) to help keep the young ones busy before games as they are the future kids who grow up etc and keep the club going.:claping hands: We were young once and before anyone says Sisu should do it, it seems the money will go directly to the people who work hard to help the little ones enjoying THE SKY BLUES.
It's just making sure the money gets there, not that I think somebody will steal it. They just need to make it easy!Just call him or email him and the easy way would be to enter the concourse by the Casino and get the people at the ticket desk on the right to take the money if it set up correctly .I am more than happy to sort it tomorrow am no worries.

I think last year they got a subway, don't think there would have been enough this year!!
I always wonder at games but never want to just hand money over randomly.
If there was an official way to donate I'm sure it would do really well!
I've no idea where they keep pulling craft materials from, have they got kids in China working over time?
Not quite Nick! Ha!
It's another suggestion we can take back to the club. Be great to have some way of the public supporting the zone. After all, it's who we do it for! And whilst the activities are mainly for the kids, parents get something from it too as prizes aren't always for the children, and I'm pretty sure I seen a fair few parents having selfies with the players and staff today as well as the kids
Not sure how it works with tax etc and it being just sport.Maybe get them to add a "donation" item in the CCFC online shop?
Further to my reply above, Mark Hornby is the chap who manages the JSB part from the clubs side so any enquiries / donations are probably best marked for his attention (hope he doesn't mind me saying that ha)
You could play fifa for a bitfrom what i know of the gameday running (mum volunteers) all money goes through Pat Raybould who to her credit over see's a very dedicated group of volunteers mum gets to games at 12.30 (and then wonders why i drive myself)
