I thought Brown was OK when he played, he got dropped at the point where he'd started to improve oddly. Shame it hasn't worked out for him.

MR alluded to a recurrent knee injury so that may be why he dropped out of the first team

When he came back into the team last season I thought we were at last seeing the player that we thought we had signed according to Shrewsbury fans. Then he was back out of the team/squad after 4-5 appearances again.
Must have been a fall out of some sorts?

No idea if it was related to the injury and long lay off but my impression last season was that Brown was very suspect in his positioning and given that was prone to dive in very dangerously.
I always expected one major error a game - as others pointed out that really cost us on a couple of occasions and we got away with it other times.
On saying that always seemed committed on the pitch and I wish him the best of luck.
Must have been some argument with Robins to be frozen out like that - Robins seems pretty calm and measured to me - albeit with a steely side when he lets players go to improve the team.

His best moment was probably his goal line clearance against Doncaster(?) to preserve a win followed by his dash to the toilet at the end.
