I've often wondered what the different symbols mean on the forums (to the left of the page.) I know the ones with the green arrows are the posts I've resonded to, but what do the others signify? There are different coloured envelopes - pink & grey - and then there are some with open envelopes and some closed. Just something to clear my inquisitive minds chaps! (and chapesses!)

They are just different signals, like the grey envelop is a new thread/new posts (i think).

I never realised there was so many. I think it is the thread status so: read\unread\multiple unread\replied
I might be wrong though.

Yep they change when there are new posts and unread! So you know which you have read
