if your looking for players to respond to a manager it has to be di cannio, from that list, a guy who the players can remember playing and understand where he's coming from, and has passion , Warnock has passion, but I feel maybe to far removed from the young players we have. evans talks big but I think would get little respect from the youth in the squad, I doubt he could motivate anything but his pay packet.

No, no, no, no, no, not Evans. Would take Colin though - never liked him at other clubs, but would like him here.

I think we need someone the young players can look up to, respect and who they can relate to, who's achieved things in there playing career recently, not saying him but someone like giggs maybe?

As long as the young players don't have girlfriends and wives !!!

I'd class Warnock in the same bracket as Mowbray, oozes class at this level. Hats off to Venus if that's who he's after... unless he wants to keep it for himself after today's masterclass

I'd take Warnock or Di Canio, both pillocks, but when it's your own pillock it's ok.
Prefer Warnock though.

My mate who is a Blades fan reckons Warnock is the man for us. Says you can't go wrong with a Yorkshire manager.

Venus says continuity needed in next manager

So he himself.fits bill but anyone external. Probably needs to play a nice brand of footy I guess

Swansea Southampton style model

He's probably still there in the door now. Just waiting for the fire brigade to arrive with an industrial size bucket of Vaseline to try and dislodge him.
Heart warming news everyone! After 3 days and 7 hours of being trapped in the Ryton front door, our heroes in the fire brigade finally managed to lube Steve Evans up enough to slide free. In a further act of kindness, beyond the call of duty, Mr Evans was presented with the bucket of leftover Vaseline. A spokesperson for the fire brigade commented 'It's just a little something for him to remember the occasion by and he will get most use out of it anyway being the massive wanker that he is'
