if your looking for players to respond to a manager it has to be di cannio, from that list, a guy who the players can remember playing and understand where he's coming from, and has passion , Warnock has passion, but I feel maybe to far removed from the young players we have. evans talks big but I think would get little respect from the youth in the squad, I doubt he could motivate anything but his pay packet.
He's probably still there in the door now. Just waiting for the fire brigade to arrive with an industrial size bucket of Vaseline to try and dislodge him.

I think we need someone the young players can look up to, respect and who they can relate to, who's achieved things in there playing career recently, not saying him but someone like giggs maybe?

I'd class Warnock in the same bracket as Mowbray, oozes class at this level. Hats off to Venus if that's who he's after... unless he wants to keep it for himself after today's masterclass

In a further act of kindness, beyond the call of duty, Mr Evans was presented with the bucket of leftover Vaseline. A spokesperson for the fire brigade commented 'It's just a little something for him to remember the occasion by and he will get most use out of it anyway being the massive wanker that he is'
