I don't know enough about either of the individuals I suppose and we all hope its not out of the frying pan and into the fire. All that said, the alternative of remaining in the hands of these arrogant uncaring morons is unthinkable !

I thought sisu were the only game in town? Surely the cheerleaders aren't changing sides?

I hav'nt seen any evidence that Mr Byng is in the mix other than for PR .
For what or who's purpose who knows.

With due respect not sure how people can go for Mr Bing.

When we do not actually know who is backing him and what his vision actually is.

We know that with Mr Haskell
We know what SISU say their vision is
We do not know what Nr Bing wants to do

One thing this poll does show is that Tim Fisher is a member.

who is backing the PH4 bid? Byng has outlined his plans in a similar way to Haskell.

With due respect I don't think we know much about either bid. We haven't heard from PH4 himself, only second-hand from JE, etc.

Either would be a risk, no more so than the other. I voted for Byng as he seems to have more financial clout behind him.

What do we know about Haskell?

We know that he has put bids in for other clubs and then withdrawn interest.

We actually have no idea who is funding his bid or what his bid is.

Me too, also as his consortium is composed of companies that want to build a railway in the area they won't be able to remain entirely anonymous. I just hope it isn't merely a publicity stunt to get noticed.

True. It's well know at the time I was pleased they'd come in because they saved us from admin. Six years on and it ain't pretty. I hope this time the right choice is made. That is why no matter how good something seems to be - Haskell with Mr Coventry or Byng and his apparent mega rich backers - we are taking a huge risk with either.

Whoever gets in - it if is a straight fight between the two - I will support, but from a personal point of view I would prefer Byng.

Has he

Sorry I have missed it.

What is his plans for the academy?
Does he have an agreement in place to buy 50% of ACL. If not what does he intend to do with ACL?
Is he planning to regenerate around the Ricoh?
Who will be chairman of the football club?
My Bing is the front man for who?

Sorry I have completely missed it.

We have been told

That he has an agreement in place to buy 50% of ACL.
That for me is a massive step forward. So it seems he can work with CCFC's partner agencies.

We do not know if he is using his own, his fathers or someone else's money.

We know he wants to make the academy top status and to continue at the Higgs centre.
So it will attract even more talent than it does now. Also that talent is less likely to be poached. So he sees the importance in developing youth.
We know Gary Hoffman will be Chairman.
We know he will not be spending a fortune on the squad.

We know what SISU's plans apparently are. Personally they don't appeal to me.

Regarding Mr Bing unless I have missed a lot we do not know who he is the front man for.
We know the people he fronts for are very interested in connecting Warwickshire to Birmingham Airport by Rail. Which is currently a very opportunistic way to make a small fortune.
The Government have been advised by the IMF to invest in the rail infrastructure to get our economy on track ( no pun intended)
The Government want to steam ahead with HS2.

The two main counter arguments from the strong Warwickshire lobbyists are

Destroying the Countryside
The people of Warwickshire don't benefit from it.

This way Mr Bing's group blows one of those arguments out of the water. So they will receive huge amounts of Goverment funding and get their name plastered everywhere.
In the build up to HS2.

Effectively state sponsored marketing.

It is a shrewd move.

The Ricoh will have a railway station hence it is of interest.

When Hs2 is built the terminal at Birmingham should mean the emerging South American markets will have Bing's people right in their faces when they fly in.

Apart from that I have no idea of his intentions for CCFC

Don't know if it is out of his own pokey his fathers or elsewhere. However if he gets the club he intends to make the academy tier one

Yes or perhaps in the end he just isn't buying at all as previous history suggests.

But £1M is paid by an FA grant.

So your plan is to abandon the purpose built Higgs centre?

As for the bids,
do you go for the highest
or for the one you would like.
Sisu could bid 40m and Haskell 35m
I'd be interested to know what they have all bid and do they know what each other have bid.
Sisu bid 40m with money they haven't got, just recycling their finances, but where does that 40m go if their bid is acepted.
Is the outstanding rent part of the debt ?

I don't know could be his own pocket.
I assume you don't know?
Where does the money come from now?

All I know is today it is borrowed from SISU to be paid back?
Well actually that was yesterday today we don't know if we will have an academy.

Haskell says he wants to turn it into level one.

He may do it he may not.

That is part of his pitch and I like the sound of it.

I don't like SUSU's plan and I don't know what the other 6 bidders intend to do with the academy, do you?

Hoffman acting on his behalf told the Kenilworth Supporters club that part of Mr Haskell's plans if he gets ownership of the club will be to pay for the academy to be up graded to level one.

To attract better talent and reduce the chances of our best talent moving on.

Ah well if he was outbid then we should automatically assume he never had any intention of buying a football club ever.

That he has the rarest of fetishes called 'travel to England and pretend to buy football clubs'

I prefer to just think he had a value on Leeds and got out bid
