I don't particularly dislike Villa. I dislike all of Birmingham.

This. Though Villa fans always seem to be tossers. David Cameron for example. Maybe it's just because you met a lot more of them than Blues though.

In reality I wasnt that bothered by the Villa, I mean I just pity them as its in Birmingham, but when you reminded me Lord Snooty David Cameron was a fan, it rekindled an intense dislike immediately, one that I only normally only feel for Sunderland.

I was in their club shop last week to get a mothers day present from my daughter (wife is a villa fan) I had my sky blues hoodie on and hadn't realised until I left the shop :)

Its funny though in a sense that they believe they dont care about us ..but they clearly do and alot have some deep rooted hatred for ccfc .

No, they really really don't. And it's embarrassing that some of our fans try to suggest otherwise.

Trust me they do mate... might not make out they do, but believe me they do hate us with an absolute passion, but who cares anyway hey, be a very long time before we play again, would be nice though.

I can only go on what I have gleaned (good word that - gleaned) from the Villa fans that I know, and they see us now as something of an irrelevance and an irritating nuisance when we played them. The rivalry as it was only happened for a short period when it was only our two clubs in the midlands in the top flight; and because we became ocmpetive with them for while (actually winning at Villa Park for the first time helped). A lot of their fans seemed to dislike us due to all the shit they got thrying to get out and away from HR safely.

To be honest I've never been bothered about rivalries; Villa, Leicester, etc. Can't seen the obsession.

Me too - maybe it's not living in Cov and knowing so many fans from our so called rivals - conentrate on supporting my club rather than waste energy on others. Don't get me wrong - I really enjoyed being at VIlla Park for the 1-0 cup win in 98, and the 3-0 at Leicester the folowing year (I think it was), just feel that there is enough hatred in the world without adding to it (keep it real brothers)

If only you knew.

Hmmm, growing up in Birmingham with many Villa supporting friends (god help me) and living here again now I can tell you that they really don't have any hatred towards us, they just generally look at us in an "ah bless" kind of way. Sorry to break it to you, they probably just hate you LB87

Yep, I'd go along with all that. Cheeky little piss take maybe (when it's appropriate) but the constant aura of hatred and savage bile? Nah, not for me.
Then again, Sunderland still exist don't they?

Sunderland fans do have a massive chip on their shoulder about us (not all of them mind - have met a few who are ok) - would quite like them to go down, although it won't spoil my tea if they didn't
