If the club had asked for more volunteers yesterday they'd have got them. I live in Bell Green so I'd have been there no problem, and I know others too would as well. Remember the club in the 60's asking for snow clearer's, piles of the stuff shifted and games on !

Well you really need to say why.
What advantage do they get from preventing our game from lrogressing .
I can think of a major negative being Money .

1) The safety officer is from Wasps.
2) No football match means no damage to the pitch for their game.
3) No football means more time for them to clear the Ricoh up
4) No football means that any desperate sports fan from the area might be tempted to watch them instead.
5) The football club look unprofessional if they can't get the game on at the last minute having said it was fine.
6) It makes Wasps look more professional putting their game on.

Sure, all of those things on their own don't mean a lot, but put them together and there is an argument. Something wasn't right about how yesterday's game was called off. Suddenly having a Wasps game on 24hours later with no issue looks a bit suspicious to me.

I think our inability to get the game on is a lot more to do with a lack of forward thinking and being caught on the hop.

Be interesting to know how Adge got the heads up with the need for help?
A simple tweet would have seen a couple of hundred show up to help. The Idea they wanted the afternoon to themselves to sort it for today could have been invested during the morning with the same benefit.
The pitch would have been exactly the same as its been when we've played prior to them, just not critical.
Commercially it will have cost them.
Did they put the resources in yesterday that they have for today .
Are they trying to damage us or themselves reputationally when it appears things at the stadium have improved .
Nights with promotions and use of the Jaguar hall?

2) I don't think us playing on it affects the pitch for them as much as it does for us.
3) yes it does.
4) I don't think it will boost their attendance much at all. Leicester City FC probably benefited more.
5) We didn't look any less professional than Aston Villa, Wolves, in fact most football and rugby clubs outside the Premier divisions.
6) It doesn't make Wasps look more professional, see your point 3 plus there has been no further snow and today is a lot warmer. If our fixture had been today it would have been on.

I would say that the away fans could not be accommodated safely yesterday and because it's football could not be re-sited.

Just because they are wearing those coats doesn't automatically make them CCFC stewards they could be Wasps people borrowing the coat from the Stewards room. Both CCFC and Wasps Stewards utilise the same coats, which never get cleaned - I've picked up a coat with some dirty gits snotty tissue left in the pocket! Never left me a tenner in it tho lol
