The thread is about whether the players today will be doing a lap of honour after the game and whether or not the fans should stay to watch it.

As a answer to the question should the players be doing a lap of honor, Edgy has replied;

'The players should sit in the stands & clap whilst the fans lap the pitch.'

I thought about this. The players have been in the press praising the fans a whole lot, I think they will want to show their appreciation whatever the result. I will personally applaud them as I believe they have been affected just as much as anybody by the rather strange policy our owners have taken over the last 18 moonths or so. I personally dont think its right to take out our anger on kids who have been thrust into our 1st team, on players who are undoubtedly struggling for fitness due to injuries yet still playing for us. The attitude they have shown is in complete contrast to that shown by Eastwood.

Remember when Strachan had the likes of Carsley with his baby doing a 'lap' of honour when we got relegated before-- blood bath, booed to the rafters.
It's not natural to applaud relegation-- its gonna be a boo fest.
