Keepers going down feigning injury (3 Viewers)

Just make it a law that when the game is stopped for an injury, anyone that isn't treating the injured player has to stay in the dugout, with players not allowed to the touchline. Sorted.
Agreed but all players to be in the centre circle

I'd have loved nothing more than when the 7 mins extra board came up for Collins to go down for 10 mins then make subs that stroll off and then maybe teams like Hull might realise how annoying it really is.
I'd much rather see beautiful tikka passes around the corner like Rudi, Sake and whoever the 3rd one was, just like old times with COH,SAKA and MVE days, beautiful.❤️

the refs could stop it, but we have the worst standard of refereeing for years, so cant rely on them to do anything about it.

All the Hull coaches should be booked for leaving technical area or sent off if they enter the pitch.

Players that leave the pitch should have to wait to be told they can re-enter by the referee.

The most annoying part on Saturday was the keeper and us were all ready to kick off, all the Hull players still over on touch line, should be made to restart or book the lot for timewasting!

wont happen though so stick with Thomas' tactics
Start without the fuckers, they'll soon get in to position.

They are currently looking at it. It’s been mentioned that a corner kick will be awarded if the referee deems that the keeper is feigning injury.

I thought that idea was for goalkeepers wasting time at goal kicks and free kicks?

Some of these solutions are nuts.

If the team with an injured keeper has to bring a sub on or concede a corner or whatever then opposing players will just target the keeper.

I mean actually inured keepers already need substituting so I’m not sure how this is different. Nothing stopping teams “targeting” the keeper. Or any other player. Been happening since Pele in 1970.

Actually brings up,Ben Wilson as an example of playing through the pain barrier, cost a result in the end, inexplicable really and still out injured?

Think Bobby has completely the right idea

Anything else is so difficult to police. Ref can’t assume he’s taking the piss
As FL said he is not surprised at Bobby doing that as he is a real wind up merchant

It's quite simple, get one or two of our players standing right next to them, eaves-dropping. They'll soon stop doing it - and it's not as if the ref can do anything against our players for doing it.

Well done to Thomas for doing it - I hope the instruction is for him to continue to do it.
Completely agree
Someone will end up getting hit and then the fa will do something about it

If they're going to waste time in the game then waste their time in the week. Send them all for very invasive, long and expensive medicals, at their own clubs expense to try and work out why there's been a sudden huge increase in goalkeeper injuries.

Two options really, fourth official asks for players to stay away from dug outs while keeper is receiving treatment.

Or another player nominated by the captain has to stand off the pitch and wait to come back similarly to any outfield injury.

Cant sadly just assume he’s a pisstaker

8+ seconds is what is being discussed now, no idea why they don't enforce the law that is already in place...

The referees just need to grow a pair, there is no requirement for them to stop play unless it's a head injury. Why are they letting the players dictate the stoppages in the game?
You've hit the nail on the head. The crux of the problem is today's players have too much power. They just kick a ball about for f'''' sake

Rumours are that 'time outs' are to be trailed at grassroots level. They currently run a blue card system too, which sin bins players for dissent. I can see 'time outs' being a regular thing in a few years. Yay.
