Can they both play in the same team or are they too similar?

If the can who do we drop?

Very happy with that central pairing Bayliss allowed freedom to be pushed into a 3 behind the striker.

I think in a 451 formation (although I prefer 442 as I don't think annoy of our strikers suit playing 1 up top) with Kelly, Meyler and Bayliss. I think it would free Bayliss up to be a bit more creative and allow him a bit more of a free role in the middle.

Personally, I wouldn't want Bayliss playing as the number 10 in a 4-2-3-1. One of his biggest strenths is getting on the ball and driving past people with it, if he was in an advanced part of the pitch, the space for him to run in to would automatically be reduced, therefore for me it should be Meyler or Kelly next to him (as long as he's fit)

If you want to play all 3, then it's probably Bayliss moving out wide right, similar to the back end of last season.... but this would then interfere wth Thomas.

As it is, Bayliss looked to be struggling when he came off on Sat, so it'll probably be Meyler and Kelly as the 2 behind Thomas, Bright and Hiwula

I think they could. Let meyler go forward a bit.

Yes i think they could too, id gor for Kelly to get more of a free license to get forward.

Bayliss has been hit and miss this season. Didnt have a great influence on the game Saturday. We played better once Shipley came on for him.

I think a 4-3-3 could work

Meyler --------- Kelly
----------Bayliss
Thomas---------Hiwula
-----------Baka

That looks like a woman with big hips

Meyler and Kelly are the chest, Bayliss the belly button, Thomas and Hiwula the waist and Baka is the bush.

Don't think there is one answer here, you have to adapt, from now until the end of the season we face a lot of tough away games, for those I would go 451, pack the middle with Kelly Meyler and Bayliss, try to stop the better opposition from playing and use Bayliss to attack on the break as the opposition commit more players forward.

...........Hiwula
Bright ..............Thomas
..Kelly Bayliss Meyler

At home were going to have more possession and teams will look to frustrate us, have to go with 2 up front so one of Kelly or Meyler alongside Bayliss in the middle with Baka & Hiwula up top.

Crosses come (in open play) when you dominate play/possession/territory, which we won't do away at Luton/Barnsley/Sunderland/Portsmouth, just as Gillingham/Wimbledon/Blackpool didn't have at the Ricoh but still came away with points.

You have to adapt and we wont be sending crosses into the box at will away from home for the rest of the season.

Be nice to see because if we dominate the midfield I can see us climbing the table
Only if we start taking chances. I think even another scabby win on Saturday and confidence will start to grow, shots will be taken earlier and that can only help. But yes a dominant midfield would be massive step forward. I liked what I saw of Meyler
