Isn't this a recipe for a repeat of what happened against Wrexham last time out?
Potentially but he’s got to give those players minutes so they’re ready when needed. I think they may have learnt from last time though.

That game still winds me up - everything that could have gone wrong for us did…. The early goals, Tavares injury, penalty and red card, hit bar three times….and their fans giving it the big un.

It will be a huge walk up like Wrexham was last season. Given the 20 points on offer for attending I am surprised more would not buy online, unless loyalty points can be retrospectively applied from cash tickets

I think the priority points scheme should be rejigged for cup games to encourage more support for a game like this Oxford match, whereby anyone attending the Oxford match and any subsequent cup matches should earn separate priority points to those earned in the league, and therefore be placed ahead of those not attending the Oxford match for any subsequent cup games in that same season. The system as it now is means that if we beat Oxford and say draw Villa away that there will be many that will be first in line for tickets that will not have attended the Oxford game.
