Enjoyed it, bit random at times, like you say, tried a bit hard. Will keep with it, as a Saturday night thing. Didn't make me want binge on I Player.Anyone else watch it?
Couldn't quite know what to make of it and thought it was trying to be far too 'witty' at times, but Jodie Cromer is fantastic in it.
Where was Trust on McB?Chose to record it to gather review - watched Trust instead - what a story what a bastard
It's got Thandie Newton lite in it.Been very successful over the pond
Is Thandie Newton in it cos I'll definitely be watching .
It will be a catch up job for me.

Thinking about it, Thandie Newton would have done such a much better job me thinks. No offence to Sandra Oh, but I couldn't quite buy into her character at times.
It could be a great show if they cut out the constant attempts at humour in every scene. Feels forced.
Still worth a watch though. Got a very good cast.
Yeah, probably correct. Its based of a series of Novellas from Luke Jennings and it’s supposed to be a spoof Bond with female characters. I haven’t seen it but it would a guess be more original Casino Royale that anything else
I skyboxed it ( story of the Gettys) - sadly not the French heavy rock band - check out Mesrine -Where was Trust on McB?

Well remember they only had Jonny Halliday to compareNot bad
Metal?
Not really my bag but v good
Hard to think of French rockers in their culture
But then why not
I love her facial expressions in thisAlways rated her as an actress and first saw her in Thirteen.
Very talented.
No, cos that's just a nursery rhyme and was conjured up at least 8 years before Jodie Comer was even born. Was she in Doctor Foster went to Gloucester ?
yep my Mrs said she was - infact she said she really dislikes her as an actress but killing eve has completely changed her mind about itWas she in Doctor Foster went to Gloucester ?
Watched the first one late last nightI've watched all but the final episode now. To be honest, its not in the same league as Bodyguard / Doctor Foster etc. But if you haven't seen it beyond the normal weekly episodes, it's fucking brilliant.
Just finished the second episode and though Jodie Comer is brilliant, I am just finding the thing okay and a bit smarmy.
For all its faults, I am enjoying Bodyguard so much more.
Really? Don't understand how you can say that, as she plays so many different characters and in so many differing styles.Just watched episode 1 thought she was more wooden than a sideboard

Her facial expressions are brilliant too I would say. It's something I study and have learnt through acting myself and through my daughter's tuition.
I think she is great. When it's OTT it's deliberately so and what I believe the director is wanting from her.
Yes, I like David Haig.
I just didn't buy into Sandra Oh's characterisation and if you can't do that it makes for difficult viewing.
I know she's won awards for it, but for me on a personal level, I just couldn't buy into her as credible.
Not read the books. Her characterisation is far truer to the books than the assassin is
Yeah, but I am only going into analytical mode because I am not enjoying at as I think I should be and also the great reviews had me wondering why I wasn't so much, too.I just enjoy it for what it is and haven't particularly anylised it
O haven't got the time to.

How is he correct? Ha! What nonsense.Of course you are correct. It’s a fun programme - almost like a 70’s Lew Grade series but with a far more glamorous cast. To be honest the preview highlights put me off. It’s a lot more fun that they suggest. It’s ham acting but it’s a good laugh.
