King, he scores goals, and that is what we need right now

It's King every time.....

No disrespect to Nimley think he's a class act but King WILL always get goals.... Nimley's time will come and I hope he's with us when it does

King.. We've been deprived of a true goal scorer before and after he's spell here... imo thats the main factor why we are in such an unenviable position...

The only people who will vote Nimely over King are the 'stay away' moral high horse brigade from last season. It's never in doubt the answer is King. Every time.

Nimley is a better technical player, but king scores the goals!

Don't agree at all. King has much more than goals. Did you never seehim off the ball or beating two or three players?

Nimely is the kind of player who can do some trickery and get the croud on there feet and can also create chances, but for the last few games I'd probably rather have King. As much as I love Nimely, I think King would just get you the crucial goals

Shame we couldn't have both.

This is a silly poll. Unless it's a morality question king has to win, Norwood or gunnarson would surely be of more debate.

King, that was easy. :D

I hate the bloke with a passion but I believe he is the best striker we've had at the club since we've been in Division 2 so it has to be him over Nimely.

If its based on remainder of this season, id easily take King.
But if its on a permanent deal, Nimely. I would LOVE us to get him on loan next season, whatever division we are in.

King everyday of the week, his movement off the ball alone shown what a good player he was, hes a more complete player then Nimley, apart from an exciting few runs followed by dives he doesn't offer all that much. More confidence in his ability and willing to shoot when he gets the chance and he could be a quality player at this level.

King was that significant, the only recent striker I can compare his significance to is Dublin. A comparison between King and Nimely is to compare the respective military mights of the USA to the Isle of Wight

Oh he with such measured morals! :p
Could you point out which things below (taken from that Wiki site) are acceptable to your "normal level" moralled person but surprise you that someone with high morals gets a bit perturned about?
Many thanks and I really look forward to your thoughts!

While on loan to Hull City, King was alleged to have headbutted teammate Dean Windass in a casino in Scarborough. Hull City stated that the matter had been dealt with internally, and both players remained with the club. Windass later described the incident as a "storm in a teacup".

King has convictions for 14 offences, dating from 1997.He received fines, driving bans, community service sentences, a rehabilitation order and orders to pay compensation on convictions including:

Theft from a person and from a car
Criminal damage
Attempting to obtain property by deception
Fraudulent use of vehicle licence document
Driving without insurance
Speeding
Drink driving
A wounding incident while playing amateur football
Two cases involving assault of young women rejecting his advances in the Soho area of London.

Two cases have led to imprisonment. In May 2002 he received an eighteen-month prison sentence for receiving stolen goods, in relation to a BMWconvertible that he was found driving. He was found not guilty of a charge of assaulting a police officer in a related case. His solicitor commented that "His reputation will be tarnished forever, whatever success he achieves, he'll always be referred to in a Tyson-esque way as someone who has had a criminal past and that is a considerable penalty." Gillingham continued to pay his salary while he was in jail, and supported in his appeal, which resulted in the sentence being reduced to nine months, and he was released on licence after five months, returning to the Gillingham team within two days of his release.
In December 2008, again in the Soho area, King was arrested on suspicion of punching a 20 year-old female university student in the face, causing a broken nose and split lip for which she was treated in hospital. He was later convicted of sexual assault and assault occasioning actual bodily harm, and sentenced to 18 months in prison and placed on the sex offender register for seven years. Wigan Athletic immediately initiated the cancellation of his contract. King’s agent, Tony Finnigan, said he was confident that his client would find a club on his release, which was on 29 July 2010, and accused the Professional Footballers' Association (PFA) of failing to offer support. After his release, he made an appeal against the conviction which was unsuccessful.

Personally, I don't think the speeding one would keep me awake at night. But the idea of my 4 year old chanting the name of this unlikeable young chap after he scores the goal saving us from relegation certainly would make me question the direction of MY club ;)

Oh, so King's not a nice person? I didn't realise. I thought this poll was all about morals. I wish I'd voted for Nimley now.

I'm not sure I remember a Cov player with a better first touch than King, certainly not since relegation.
