King still deciding future... (6 Viewers)

Sky seem at odds with themselves.
Sky Sports news reporting that a deal has been agreed, Sky Sports.com reporting no deal reached.
Cannot imagine CCFC would put themselves in the situation of announcing something that was not agreed, especially after embarrasing themselves over meeting the council.

my thoughts are that King will repay us by signing a contract which gives us a fee when he goes. Still not convinced he would stay all next season

"Cov fans, asking about Marlon King story - the story is as we reported, he has NOT agreed a deal with Coventry FACT"

as quoted from Graeme Baileys twitter

Yep. As I said, Marlon and his agent were at Birmingham earlier today.

I'm a City season ticket holder and am the last bloke who wants to see him go but that's football

Official site:

COVENTRY City wish to state that they have had a double verbal agreement that Marlon King will be a Sky Blues player next season.
Chairman Ken Dulieu has a verbal confirmation from Marlon's friend and advisor while the player has also told manager Andy Thorn that he is looking forward to next season at the Ricoh Arena and is delighted to remain with the club.

It is my understanding that tomorrow morning another article will likely come out in the paper which questions Marlon's possible signing at CCFC. This story, like the Sky News story today, was based on information from his representative. I want to ensure that we are always open with CCFC fans, and, in that spirit, and want to restate the facts clearly for everyone:

1. Marlon and his representative both verbally confirmed to Andy and Ken respectively that Marlon has agreed to the terms in the proposed contract and will return to CCFC next season. This is fact.

2. We choose to be public about this so that fans weren't kept in the dark

3. This is a verbal agreement and contracts must still be signed, but terms have been agreed and contract is on it's way to Marlon's representative now

4. Anything can of course happen, and Marlon can choose not to sign, however, we wanted you all to know we had agreed on terms.

Hope this helps. Didn't want anyone to be jarred again by another article that may come out tomorrow. I will say again, I think one of the big reasons that Marlon is looking at coming back is because of how welcome the fans have made him feel. A big credit and thanks is owed to all of you.

I love now they have changed there tune to "Marlon is looking at coming back", when this morning the deal was "just needed the i's dotting and the t's crossing"

Ok, then why was Marlon and his Fuckwit of an agent at Birmingham today? And why, when they left, was the Brum chief exec 'very happy indeed'?

Why can't I find any mention of King being in Birmingham on a Birmingham City board or Twitter?

Any idea why Marlon King being spotted at St Andrews isn't being discussed by Brum fans, Greystokes? I've got one theory why.

His agent obviously wants a nice payday. MK is happy at CCFC and obviously wants to sign and thank the fans, but his agent doesn't see it that way - he doesn't owe the fans anything. So he's just looking for for more ££££££££

Marlon will sign when he gets back from his holiday.

You've demanded to know where he's gone on holiday and called someone a twat in the process, so money where your mouth is; tell us your source.

Can we can?

Yes, but ban this wum please.

So far all he has said is he believes MK was at Birmingham if you choose not to believe him that is your choice and you do have the choice to block him so you do not see his posts. however some of your language is unacceptable. If anyone does anything out of line I will do what is necessary
