I think they have both had good first seasons. So how do you think they played ?
Both currently have a mistake in them but they have potential for sure.

As I've been saying all season. No contest who the better all round defender is. Thomas by a country mile.I agree with this. Impressive progression this season and actually I think that he looks more of a potential captain than Kitching ( nothing against Kitching as I also rate him ) .
Thomas has had 2 storming games vs Leeds. He was unbelievable at Leeds also.Didn't see if anyone at fault for their goal as was down other end but great from them yesterday, Thomas was awesome, commanding, took no nonsense. Bidwell too, defending was exceptional.
I think Bobby is getting better and better and both of them have a very high ceiling
Victorian!I’d expect so the wages they get, I bet they’ve got a lovely house.
Totally agree. Kitching has been disappointing for me. Thomas has come on leaps and bounds. As I've been saying all season. No contest who the better all round defender is. Thomas by a country mile.
Spot on.Thomas is a premier league player in the making however kitching is a championship defender not premier league standard

Out of interest why would you choose McNally in the middle ?Imagine a back 3 of Thomas , Kiching and McNally in between them. I think that would work well. We tried a back 3vthisxseason which didn't reap rewards mainly as Fadz was past his best and lati isn't quite good enough IMO
When I saw them Stoke played a back 4. Maybe he's more suited to a 3?Out of interest why would you choose McNally in the middle ?
Played well for 20 or so games last season but by all accounts has been poor this season
Is it based on quality or the fact that he played for us ?
They both have a lot of work to do in fairness.Totally agree. Kitching has been disappointing for me. Thomas has come on leaps and bounds.
You are falling into the trap of believing that a more overt defender is betterThomas is a premier league player in the making however kitching is a championship defender not premier league standard

Try pretend you’re balanced and see what you can come up withCan't actually figure out what Kitching does. Doesn't win many headers or tackles, doesn't seem to organise or command, no particularly quick, make loads of mistakes. It's weird. Defenders shouldn't be confidence players, they should be level headed and consistent.
I’m chilledChill out Pete. Why the hate? Thought we were mates. Greggs x
He will be in time, very few in this group are the finished article.Level headed? All he ever does it try to start fights. I love watching centre halves, always have done. I just worry about him being up to standard.
What do you make of Binks? Or would you go in for McNally? They both have a lot of work to do in fairness.
Binks is worth making permanent but not worth breaking the bank for. McNally’s looked poor for Stoke in the most part but might be worth it if Robins thinks he can get better from him. What do you make of Binks? Or would you go in for McNally?
Welcome back Greggs if it actually is you, missed your
Thats a shame I was looking forward for some of his lighthearted trollingLooks like he's been banned already!
Binks and Tavares have earned the right to start the remaining games in my view. In Tavares’ case there’s a contract in it for himKitching had a poor game. But still think he will be a good player for us.
Thomas was unbelievable and Binks second half as well very good
