A friend of mine reports on the baggies for the express and star, and when I mentioned this a) he wasn’t in the loop on it but said that’s not to say it wouldn’t happen and b) he’s quality and he’d be great for us. I trust his judgement, he said Andre Wright was shit...

I think this one is likely to happen

Said if he keeps playing like that he'll be great for them and that he gave prem Brighton the run around

Seems pretty unlikely to me that a player who was played, and impressed, in the cup on Saturday would be loaned out before the replay is played. And the replay isn’t until after the window shuts.

I'm never one for claiming or having insider info, and Mr Panda is normally spot on so very confused about this. Just text my mate asking if he had finally heard anything about Edwards, seeing as Robins has said: "we've signed a winger from championship side to be announced later, everything is signed up." His response was: 'It's not him. I've just seen him run out for training at WBA'

This has been followed up with 'It could be on the cards later this week but WBA need replacements first. Put it this way... I'm not writing about it'

It's Edward Kyle, younger brother of Kevin

Son of Jeremy? I heard that he puts in a great cross and says "Put something on the end of it".

Wonder if it's a diversion?

Tell the players we are signing a player, a completely different one rocks up.

Has there been an indication from Robins that today is the day we make the signing? I've no idea with this one when it will be unveiled.

Hm, we'll see.

Maybe hes just training this morning with WBA then making the short trip to Ryton later for a 5pm sign on, take photos etc.

Are we abs sure about Edwards being the one? Just doesn’t seem to make sense from a West Brom pov to play him in 4th round FAC tie (and risk injury) have him impress there and then release him on loan before the replay.

I heard it was but don't like to say anything until it's certain
If MR has said it's all completed I suspect it it's sorted now

Ironically WBA are hoping to bring Jacob Murphy on loan from Newcastle which would explain Edwards going out on loan for more game time
And/or Kamara from Fulham - Darren Moore will probably need boxing gloves to manage him

Can't see many beating Moore in a scrap.

Interesting that Murphy is dropping back to the championship.

Just seen this on BBC website. Seems as though a fee might be holding it up.. seems odd to be paying a fee for a loan player that realistically we don’t know much about..
