Lack of aggression in defence ? (1 Viewer)

They aren't though.

Defenders who bully Gyo often come off best. He isn't aggresive.

He is and he is strong enough. But just going down the route of looking for free kicks and penalties all the times. Some of the things he has appealed in recent weeks has been near ridiculous.

Example Cardiff clearly headed ball over bar but argued with ref it should have been a corner. Few minutes later has half chance of a penalty shout - ref not interested, I wonder why?

This get in the refs ear stuff is all nonsense - do we want a team of Robbie Savages - it makes no difference - Gyokeres tries to con refs every game he’s just not good at it

Players are far, far more likely to be carded than it actually making any significant difference on decisions.

It's such a ridiculous concept which is decades old.

I'd rather we concentrate on players who are good at football.

Haven’t read the thread but one thing for sure , seeking aggression from 18, 19 and 20 year old kids at Championship level is going to be hard to find. As per usual it looks like Robins is going to be given very little to spend.
